And still there were not enough of them for their needs, hence all the Marders (also not enough of them).

Interesting fact, the last of these IVs were knocked out trying to take the road bridge over Drava river in Dravograd on the 12th and 13th of May 1945 But they never had enough of them

OK, that could be one explanation, they made a normal turret at first, but then Lizzo sat on it.

The horror, the horror. Was sabra upgrade too jewish for them and they had to conceive this unholy abomination to wash off the stain?

I think the early versions indeed had a hull MG, this one is probably Besa MG that was used in Pz-38t and all British tanks. Funny thing, when the Brits licensed Vz-26, the British changed the caliber to .303, but with Besa they kept the original 7,92x57 caliber, thus needlessly introducing yet...

Looks to me like three different alt-history upgrades of Type 74 tank.

Because due to corrosive influence of white patriarchy they refused to send them to the frontlines, saving them as force of the last resort, but cowardly gaijin nukes precluded their deployment. The more progressive members of the military understood that if they fully embraced the schoolgirl...

I keep forgetting that the British never bothered with laser detector.

The dig came up empty, they relied on foggy memories of one guy and it turns out that's not a good thing.

Nope, Turkish military did not develop anything, Sabra is Israeli development and some components for the upgrade are still imported from Israel, given the downturn in relations between the two countries, it makes sense for them to turn to domestic industry.

Regulator II looks better, but I'm not a fan of Light Gauss Rifle. TRO 3058 had the fugliest art of them all so I consider the later art for Regulator II to apply to original Regulator as well.

My favourite BT tank would be Regulator - fast hover with Gauss rifle, it complements the mechs just perfectly, but it can hold it's own just as well, even if a bit fragile.

That's how BattleTech was from the start in 1984, WH40K started three years later

And how would ships loaded with panzerfausts make it's way from Germany to Japan? The realities of Japanese industrial production simply don't make this an option.

These are not policing actions, these are military actions against light infantry units and tanks are force multiplicators in such operations. The German loss in WWII and American loss in Vietnam are caused by strategic and operational level factors, if you think it was caused by tactical level...

What the hell are you talking about? Use of armor in counterinsurgency operations is a common thing for a long time, Germans for example had dozens of police tank companies that supported their anti-partisan operations. Use of tanks in Vietnam was effective, US and ARVN forces would have...

To the contrary, they saw heavy use throughout the war Americans lost more than hundred as a complete write off, mostly to IEDs, mines and RPGs. They were used in convoy protection, road patrolling, base protection and spearheading combat operations in lowlands, as tanks can operate in...

Also in the old tanks, like M-48 in the picture, the only cooling was from the insufficient ventilation system, so if you were in hot place, then the only way to alleviate the discomfort was through improvisation. Twin M2 mount is also nonstandard modification. It was a guerilla conflict so...

We call it napkinwaffe, a cool idea somebody had, but even the basic engineering calculation show it to be unfeasible. During both world wars the governments of all mayor warring nations were bombarded with such wild goose proposals, often by men who ought to know better.
