Points at the Korean War. Quantity is overrated. The PRC sent a shitload of troops into Korea and still did not win the war. That is why we still have a ceasefire to this day.

The last real War the PRC actually fought in was 70 years ago in Korea. Every other major power has fought more recent wars. I would say they don't have any combat experienced troops on par with well anyone.

You don't have to defeat the whole PRC Navy. You just have to kill their Aircraft Carrier. That alone will cause a major lost of face. And subs armed with those torps can most certainly kill that Carrier.
