Apologies if this is a derail, but just because I feel compelled to answer: Mostly agreed, though I’d still add a few caveats here. For one, while I agree that the Reich’s plans were more reprehensible in principle, the whole “Exterminate and enslave all non-Aryans everywhere!” thing tends to...

Regarding the bolded bit, something I've noticed is that it's more "socially acceptable" to run defense for left-wing dictatorships than it is for right-wing or fascist ones. For instance, I believe Michael Moore praised Cuban healthcare more than once (even though it's probably shit), while...

Tomfoolery aside, though, I wonder when they’ll start to about-face on the whole “It’s a private company; it can do what it wants!” line that we’ve been hearing them bleat ad nauseam. They seem to be quietly abandoning it, as is, and considering all the flak Elon’s getting for his new...

Got the joke and all, but seriously, what’s the context here? I’d imagine it’s just Elon being Elon, though I’m curious as to where he got that sink from.

My bad. Was tired when I posted this, so must've been thinking of the really short, clip-length fan-dubs I've seen on YouTube every so often. (Which, and you've pointed out why, is a whole different story from dubbing whole episodes, though I hope that's possible to do cheaply and conveniently...

What about fan-dubbing, though? If there’s a market for fan-subbing to avert Woke insertions, then I imagine there’d also be one for fan-dubbing, so that foreign viewers get the “whole package” that includes watching it in their own language.
