Ronald Reagan: 73,983 (56.16%)✔
George HW Bush: 23,442 (23.00%)
*February 26, 1980: Former California Governor Ronald Reagan (R)'s controversial and infamous debate stunt in Nashua galvanized into a resounding landslide victory in the Granite State. According to local television stations, Reagan garnered 56% of the vote while former CIA Director George HW Bush, managed to barely get 23% of the vote.
No rest for the candidates as the next primaries coming up for March 4th: Vermont (20 delegates) and Massachusetts (46 delegates), where political observers expect Reagan and Bush to split these respective states because the biggest state will be in South Carolina and its 28 delegates set for March 8th.
