AH Challenge - Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth expands to Mediterranean, gets territories outside Europe

Here's the challenge - from any point after the inception of the Polish-Lithuanian personal union (or later Commonwealth) have this state expand south to reach the Mediterranean and beyond to include territories outside the European continent.

Remember you can start as early as you want and mess with Poland's history and system of government as much as you want. One additional stipulation is that Moscow cannot come under PLC rule in this ATL.

A Polish-Hungarian union might be a good start in regards to this. This should give you access to Croatia's coastline, no? Then expand further into Lithuania, and voila!
