What would some additional realistic cases be of national partitions that last for at least a couple of decades? In real life, we have had:

-Germany
-Korea
-Vietnam
-China (since Taiwan was previously a part of China)
-Yemen

So far, I can think of:

-Japan (with the Communists getting northern Hokkaido and the regular Japanese government getting everything else during the Cold War):

-Ukraine (with there being a pro-Russian nominally neutralist government in the east/south/Kiev and a pro-Western government in the rest of Ukraine)--this one could actually happen in the future:

But none of these partitions actually involve Communists, right? FWIW, I was thinking of both halves of a country claiming to be a country's legitimate government.
