Hell, given how high up her mother was in Vault Tec,do you think she would let her little girl out of her sight on the day the bombs fell and not make damn sure she wasn't inside a nice, safe, control or overseers vault?
Also

20:00 mark of episode 8
"I suggest we hedge our bets"

To "hedge our bets" means to reduce the risk of loss by placing bets or investments in such a way that a potential loss in one area is offset by a gain in another. It's a strategy used to minimize potential losses or to protect against uncertainty.

21:18 "Bud here has an idea to form three connected vaults"

This means that Vault 31, 32, 33 were NOT EVEN CREATED YET and this is prior to Robo Co taking over RepCom which would have been a year or two before the bombs went off

The controversial part of "we'll drop the bomb ourselves" often omitts the part 23:50 "A nuclear event will be a tragedy but also an opportunity"

Vault Tech likely would have sabotaged peace talks to ensure nukes would get launched but they wouldn't have had enough time (2 years before bomb dropped) to develop the other vaults for their investors as we know some were incomplete or being built mid process, the point being is they schemed for the end of the world but they ultimately didn't get to decide when it would happen.

Yeah.

Like this series as much as you want, the lore damage it has done is catastrophic. It actively negatively impacts every Obsidian Fallout Game and that leaves a sour taste in a lot of fan’s mouths.

Not even a Fallout fan, but I can tell you that.

Edit: Oh God…this is Fallout’s “The Last Jedi” moment, isn’t it?
Almost every literal complaint about the Retcons is a lie or just false perpetuated by people who didn't watch or pay attention to the show. Even the nuking taking place before New Vegas was false misinformation.

I think people just want this to be true because they went in with the objective to shit on Bethesda as much as possible out of sheer spite not out of any actual flaws in the show.

Also, after the last decade people just assume every movie or show is shitting on their favorite franchise from the second the trailer drops.

I did see people on Social Media (not here thankfully) whining about how there were too many Black people and ethnic minorities for a 50's America aesthetic.

When you hate Bethesda so hard you start Groypering yourself into retconning everything in the setting beyond leaving the Vault 13 Cave.

It's funny because there's more black people in the games than there was in the show. When you hate Bethesda so much you become racist looking for an excuse to hate the show 😂

The NCR, the effective rebirth of civilisation in the United States, a nation the players of the first few games have been with since the beginning, has been unceremoniously annihilated offscreen. With only rabid raiders as a sad echo left to pillage and burn.

Over a hundred years of in-universe work throughout three games cast into the sea, mentioned as little more than a footnote, because Bethesda wanted to put its stamp on the Fallout series/do a JJ Abrams and reset the clock. The NCR effectively is a cornerstone of Obsidian's Fallout, the in-universe hope for the future, and it was systematically excised.

Sorry, that does not sit right with me.

One capital of the NCR consisting of 35,000 out of their 700,000 population was destroyed.
The NCR aka the NATION consists of more than just one city, so this is factually and provingly with actual evidence as false.

Cities or Headquarters get destroyed in every Fallout game please stop being melodramatic

Literally Bethesdastan hater propaganda.

It should because everything you said was 100% false, like seriously this is CNN level propaganda and misinformation, you're not even trying to prove your statements as true.

If he did that the FO Purists would say he ruined the franchise for the hundredth time 😂

The fans would've loved to of seen Todd Howard as the Poseidon Oil CEO and having him agreeing to wipe out Humanity pre-war... then helping found the Enclave... to help wipe out Humanity again... and then in this show a third time... attempting to wipe out Humanity a third time. ❤️

It seemed to me that the rabid raiders that attacked the Vault were hirelings or mercenaries IMHO and different from the NCR Remnant we saw in the finale. Could be mistaken but the NCR types seemed not as rabid.

The Brotherhood was bravely mowing down unarmed people IIRC in some parts of the final battle.

Regardless it was more then just rabid raiders in the membership.

Could they have been hired by the woman trying to get the cold fusion device to work? It's how they could have gotten Rose's pip boy.

I'm 100% confident that Moldaver used Raiders because NCR soldiers wouldn't be comfortable killing Vault Dwellers, Vault 7 literally took in NCR Refugees.

The show doesn't spoon feed you information but makes you have to critically think and the issue is people are so fucking retarded they can't piece the clues together. This is why shows dumb stuff down because you get people whining about stuff like this 🤷

No it's simple

Moldaver has a cult of personality with the NCR and she paints herself as a good person, at the same time she's an extremist so she has to toe the line of her public image because the people of the NCR still exist and they DO see her as a good person.

There's tons of hints inferring this

The number of people who think this series is something great shows how bad television has become. While I wouldn't say its a shitty series its definitely nothing to write home about either. Had this come out in 2010ish when Breaking Bad was having its run Fallout would be getting 5/10 ratings.

It's not Breaking Bad great but it's a SIGNIFICANT improvement over video game adaptations to live television (Which is honestly a milestone considering it's probably the only good one made), improvement and noticeable improvement should be praised.

Just compare Rings of Power and Halo Amazon TV shows to Fallout

Are you going to say honestly Fallout is just as bad?
