IMO Stalin will not move in - no gambler he. He did gamble to an extent with the Hitler-Stalin Treaty, assuming that the Entente will twiddle its thumbs. But there is a difference between Poland and a transplanted piece of British real estate.

I was thinking of something like this, just to exchange km for km, in a good place. But the idea of Poland but as an island-continent appealed to me more. (Especially that instead of cutting into Australia, you could swap Poland with New Zealand because the latter is smaller than Poland) Because, you know, finally Poland has peace from its neighbors, because the only neighbor is water itself.

But in general, any visions of how history would turn out in such a situation? Yes, just for fun, in the style of historical games.

No, especially since he may take up the offer to help resettle Australians in GB in exchange for all of Australia in Europe.

IMO I think the British might agree to that. They get rid of a troublesome undefendable area for the Empire and at the same time Hitler stands directly with Stalin which will sooner or later provoke a war between them. All you have to do then is pull out the popcorn and enjoy the spectacle.

I agree that Piłsudski's morons would be devasted with the army being safely cut down to 10%. And that they'd start building a navy. The planned (most expensive in the world) destroyers would be built, with more to come.
Although finances would be "interesting" ... I'd expect French military loands being cancelled. Much smaller British might remain.
BTW - the only sensible ships would be the training vessel ORP Gryf, due to its large range (diesels) and the subs. The destroyers would have to be augmented - and then replaced - with Pacific range craft.

Navy - we started to build next 2 destroyers,but that was all.Rest/more subs and torpedo boats/ would be buyed,dunno where.
