They fight within the Hidden Mist Village, Post-Crisis versions for both, blood-lusted otherwise.

Who wins?

Who are they? besides,do not matter anyway.

King Shark is physically superior from some random feats he's had, but most of the time I've read about him it was in Suicide Squad appearances where he never really impressed me. Meanwhile Black Manta has power armor, is highly trained, has energy weapons, lots of experience, superior tactical acumen and excellent martial arts ability. And of course his armor makes him superhuman on par with most of King Shark's general feats IMHO.

I think in a random blood lusted battle, King Shark would actually win. He can hang with Wonder Woman and Superman on his higher end occassions and is seen as a clear physical superior to Aquaman. Black Manta is more competent and versatile but... without a little prep or the opportunity to engage, King Shark might just bite his face off... again.

Kinda interesting, when I first saw this Versus I was thinking Black Manta would stomp but yeah, the more I think about it, the odds for King Shark I feel nudge him ahead.

I'm more in line with thinking Black Manta may take this. He's used to fighting things as strong if not stronger than himself. He's strong enough to stand against those threats and he's clearly the better fighter. He's got energy weapons and flight systems to help him maintain distance to wear down an enemy, and Atlantean blades, durable armor and superior martial arts skills to deal with an enemy in close. I give this to him.

Yeah that's a good point. Maneuverability and the weapons means he could slice and dice King Shark down. He'd have to fight smarter but I suppose it'd be easier to do in a one on one fight.

Not familiar with the Hidden Mist Valley as a battlefield setting though.

Who, from what I've seen is more a Brawler and charger. Not a real fighter. Manta can use that.
Indeed people who can't fight assume being a "beserker" is an advantage and it simply isn't. Go and watch any serious professional fighter and you will see the dude is absolutely, utterly, and disturbingly calm throughout the fight. The reality is "I just black out bro" means a dude who actually knows and is trained in combat can and will methodically take you apart. Let the people who don't know what real violence is believe what they will though it's easier then arguing with complete ignorance.
