Books Comics in grayscale

It is my understanding that doing pictures in grayscale (as opposed to simple black-and-white) takes about as long as coloring. However, it seems to stand to reason that printing costs would be significantly less than full color, making me wish that it would be used more often.

You have been weighed
Well, yeah. I mean, what's wrong with that? He didn't seem to know what grayscale is (which is... odd), and that was the quickest and easiest way to explain what I was talking about.
I probably would have gone with a sample picture, maybe even something in a comic style so he had a good impression of what you meant!

*shrugs* Fair enough.
Saw how it looks, honestly I prefer things with color
Yeah, but color can cost considerably more. And when something (mostly collections) is offered in both color and black-and-white versions, the black-and-white version tends to look like ass. (Great splotches of black and not anything that would be confused for gradual shading.) Grayscale would be a nice middle ground.
