Commoners Quest- 1000 Wands of World Wrecking Wonder (DnD 5E RPG)

@FriedCFour So did I do something wrong? Or did I not explain something well enough? Or misunderstand the mechanics? Just want to know what I now need to change.

And can understand Orcish, and undercommon being out, since not all settings will have orcs or an equivalent of the underdark.

The background in question, checks out to me.

Which is why I am asking, because there are still mistakes I could have made, or perhaps something I should have cleared.

No problem, it is a minor mistake really.

What do you suggest as a replacement?

And is there still a problem with him and Boris communicating?
Its not clear to me if they are talking in Dwarvish or Draconic. As a replacement I would suggest Gnomish, Druidic or Dwarven. That covers most languages.

My character was addressing him in draconic, since he doesn't or rather didn't know draconic, but I can switch it around if you'd like. I'll at least go with Dwarvish, not sure about the second one.

I mean on their end. It's on unclear on which they are using but if you knew all the languages they did it doesn't matter.

Wait hold on, the 5e lizardfolk I'm looking at can speak Common and Draconic by default. You've even got it in your character sheet here:

What makes it so you can't speak common?
Something I kicked over to Fried in a chat I had with him right after making Boris with only 8 Int, making him a dumb and rather slow boi.

Also non-english speaking Slav sterotypes, since Boris's concept is Slav Lizard.

So with a disposable character I thought why not pitch it to Fried for a giggle.(Then forgot in the month between posting Boris and the games proper start. :V )

Generally Boris's replacements will know common. If they don't, then as a proud clan of Dwarfboo's they'll will always know Dwarven.

A little bit more on the mainstay religions. Saras has churche, masses, altars and priests. Its pretty similar to Catholicism in trappings. Has a good number of Paladins, particularly among the golden knights of Fascas. Gaius worship is largely around stone circular alters in forests when it happens and doesn't have much of a mass. Both of these are permissible and tolerated religions in both Fascas and Misthylvania, but Fascas is known for having more zealous followers in both religions, with the Golden Knights being a holy order to Saras and having a large contingent of Druids of Gaius. Y'all would not know a ton about Zarom worship besides stories of being evil and degenerate. Humans 80/20 tend to worship Saras over Gaius, Dwarves reverse that.

So would any of our characters possibly worship minor gods? Just wondering.
