Composite xenomorph/s run/s a gauntlet

Not really, couldn't have said it better myself. This is why when it comes to Halo, I just stick to the books for lore. Game mechanics aren't really a reliable source material. There's crazy feats for xenomorphs in the books too, such as being able to tank a 12 gauge shotgun at close range for example. And there's also the Praetorians in the Aliens: Earth War books that were able to neutralize an APC with relative ease.

And while not canon to the Alien or AVP Universe, Superman v Aliens is canon to the DC multiverse so Aliens exist in that universe that can contend with Superman-level beings, although that is an extreme high-end outlier.
Xeno's tanking 12 gauge isn't too crazy, 12 gauge doesn't have much penetration after all. Praetorians are all but bulletproof in most incarnations though.

I'm trying to remember some other examples but its been awhile since I've read them.
Well if they can incorporate Kryptonian DNA... but then it's basically just a non-humanoid version of Doomsday.
I'm not as familiar with DC as I am DH/AvP but I can't for the life of me remember what Doomsday is supposed to be, is he a different species?

Genetically engineered Kryptonian monstrosity.
Also in hindsight I don't think anything has actually resisted the DNA-theft ability of the Xenomorphs.

And superman canonically has DNA (because writers don't know what they're talking about)

Soooooo...

Uh oh.

Comparing Shooter game mechanics to shooter game mechanics makes more sense in a Versus match anyways since RTS scaling can be pretty wonky as is.

Though YMMV since the idea is a "composite" Xenomorph.

I believe a gauntlet was already provided by the OP ahem... Granted it was only one setting... but that should mean its easy to tackle.

That was before it got updated but I didn't see any clear gauntlet. Just first round being BSG

Oh no the first round is still Battlestar Galactica... and considering how well a few Armored Centurions did in that one excellent episode in Season Two of the show Valley of Darkness, the Composite Xenomorph should leave a lot of decapitated corpses about. The Marines and personnel on Galactica don't really have anything more powerful then conventional arms AFAIK beyond the sparing amount of explosive bullets. The Marine units were pretty good at trapping them and venting atmosphere soonafter though, so that'd probably be their best bet before they all end up decapitated. The Marines had the benefit of knowing where the Cylons would roughly be going though. Conversely they had the disadvantage of power failure across most of the ship and thus a lack of effective lighting, tracking, comms and even access to shipboard armories.

@ThatZenoGuy I found some more stuff on their height. I can't find any sources for it, but it states that the canon height of the Praetomorph is around 2.7 meters (8'10) that might be its length though and I'm reading it wrong. Anyway, on AVPGalaxy on its page they state in the behind-the-scenes that the Praetomorph is supposed to be around 8' tall
They made two different versions of the body. One was a puppeteered Bunraki-type suit and the other was an actual suit. Ridley preferred the actual suit due to its practicality but it was smaller and looked like a man in a suit. The puppeteered suit was large, 8ft tall with the actor using carbon-fiber raisers to achieve the height. The raisers made it difficult to use on uneven ground so it was impractical in a lot of locations. They also made an animatronic version for close-up shots.

Although in my redesign of the xenomorph would be significantly "thiccer", something like this:

Alien: Isolation concept art, not my work

Praetomorph is explicitly 'not' a Xenomorph however, so we cannot use it for compositing. X_X

Space jockeys in power armor are roughly the same size minus the extended carapace.

Don't ask me to site this information, it's from some comics I read, ig you in 5 hours

What kind of 1-v-1 fights do you think would be a good match for the composite xenomorph/praetomorph? We've had Master Chief already and I think the general consensus is that in-character he'd keep his distance and make use of high-explosives and probably need to resort to HAVOK nuking the site from orbit... just to be sure. :p
I feel like trapping it in a gravity centrifuge, maybe getting tossed around in close quarters a bit, before escaping and turning the centrifuge on full power could also work - crush it into a micro black hole that rapidly dissipates through the force of gravity - using one of the four fundamental forces of physics, a reference to exploding the Alien in 3 through the force of thermodynamics.

As the OP you should determine the Compositemorphs final form or abilities I feel.

Well at the very least it would be around 8 feet (because I count the Praetormorph as a xenomorph for this instance), able to manhandle a predator or a 4+ ton exosuit, able to withstand blows akin to getting hit by a small car or vehicle and only get pissed off as a result of that, vulnerable to explosives and thermodynamics but extremely resilient to non-AP and blunt force trauma (basically, if a fucking 8 foot, 400 pound predator can get ragdolled or pinned by one of these things you're going to want to keep your fucking distance), has terrifying tardigrade-like resilience and cellular regeneration akin to starfish so if you don't double-tap it it's soon going to be back on its feet and coming after you once more. Most sci-fi universes would see them having to be contained and quarantined on a planet or within a star system never to be messed with again, or outright nuked and genocided due to how physically fucking dangerous and intimidating they are.

Yeah something like that does sound Master Chief level. Something akin to a lower level Hive Tyrant of the Tyranids but with even more impressive regeneration and maybe less resilient to some forms of damage. Less intelligent, but only because Hive Tyrants are really smart and have psychic abilities. And being a xenomorph, it would have that wall crawling ability and stealthiness.

So maybe more like a stealthy, wall crawling, and more ferally intelligent Hive Guard perhaps. Definitely high elite level in the 40K terms.
