The Avengers were on the verge of defeat on Aveengers headquarter by Thanos, but Steven Strange refused to let Thanos get the gauntlet. after throwing Iron Man away, Thanos was prepared to take the gauntlet for himself, before Steven opened up a portal between dimensions, and summoned the only living flesh to walk between the border and beyond.

It was his last-ditch effort; the last hope for their timeline.

The Doom Slayer appeared from the portal, all weapons he has attained across the series in hand, and he saw that Thanos wanting a powerful artifact which previously gave him the power to raze the moon.

This could not stand.

The Slayer engaged combat this new force, for it seemed more dangerous than Hell itself.

Alright:

Equipment for Thanos:
his armor and sword

Equipment for the Slayer:
All weapons attained across the series. This includes things like the Slayer Shotgun and the Praetor Arm-blade, as well as the unmaykr and crucible sword.
new Praetor Suit.
All Rune Upgrades
All power-ups.

Thanos is in-character for the avengers headquarter fight. Doom Slayer as in Doom Eternal.

Doom Slayer stomps. Nothing particularly impressive about Thanos compared to the Slayer's showings, plus some of his weapons are just ridiculous overkill for someone like Big Purple.

Why do you think he carries half a dozen guns that are less powerful than his fists or throwing a rock?

Yeah... I think it'd be pretty competitive to be honest.

MCU Thanos only really had the last Avengers movie to show off his own inherent capabilities since at the bare minimum he always had the Power Gem through the first Avengers Infinity movie.

But I think he might actually have the advantage against the Doom Slayer. The Slayer is obviously powerful and formidable from those bits and very strong, but Thor and Captain Marvel can fly through solid rock and giant monsters and smash chains and the like. Captain America's shield can snap and sever metal. Ironman is also pretty formidable.

MCU always has a problem with scaling (which I find neat) like how Captain America gets shot with pistol rounds in Winter Soldier but tanks laser blasts in Age of Ultron. But Thanos was able to tank a lot of damage and punishment from Thor, Ironman and Captain America during their brawl and was for the most part, the stronger partner in that whole melee despite the three of them. And he was able to cut and chop apart Captain America's shield piece by piece with his giant double sword.

The Praetor Suit is said to be quite impervious, but we also know that the Doom Slayer does get overpowered. The reason he is so formidable (for a large part) is because he gains strength from the demons he defeats and that is referenced in canon (via glory kills) and with Thanos… if it's a one on one, that would give Thanos another advantage.

I think the Doom Slayer could obviously be a fair bit more mobile. He can jump like crazy and the like, and he is obviously superhumanly strong, but I don't know if he's Thor level strength even with the clips you've shown. And all other things aside, Doom Slayer has been challenged by foes that seem considerably less then Thor or Ironman level with the earlier bosses in Doom and Doom: Eternal. Like is the Cyberdemon more significantly powerful then the giant monsters Thor fought like Fenris and the giant dragon/monsters that the frost giants and Surtur had as their minions? Or the Destroyer? I think the Slayer would make a good run of it but with the sword, maybe Thanos could even block or deflect those BFG shots which normally would seem like more of a match winner.
