Thought some people would find the history of this Island Fortress interesting.



Its always a bit shocking to find just how much pounding well built reinforced concrete can take.

The same tactic that was used on recapture of Fort Drum was also used in retaking of Corregidor, to kill the Japanese in the tunnels.
