Warhammer 40K Fulgrim was not corrupted by the Laer Blade but instead realized it was dangerous?

Presume he gets suspicious or realizes a sheer wrongness about it and the Laer and decides to just destroy everything and not take even any trophies

And maybe decides to watch out for anything similar

Would he still blow up on that Remembrancer-Sculptor for saying “too perfect” as a critique? Would he preside over that guy’s possible wedding with that Remembrancer-Painter and give the latter encouragement and compliments and advice not to cut herself?

Would he colonize all those Eldar Maiden Worlds? Would Eldrad approach him? Would Eldrad serve meat instead?

The EC will be badly damaged as with the other Legions at Istvaan V, so the big implications are for post-Heresy.

Bile will probably go Chaos anyway - if he survives the Heresy, same situation as the OTL, if he dies the CSM are far lower in numbers.

EC probably don't split into many Chapters - they will be one of the Shattered Legions in this ATL - but the IoM will have that much more Marines. Fulgrim probably disappears shortly after the Heresy like his loyalist brothers did.

Aren’t the Emperor’s Children still vulnerable to the disease that almost wiped them out before Fulgrim came with new geneseed?

If they get hit with it again, I guess things won’t be much more tipped over to the Loyalists’ forces, though Fulgrim and Ferrus not fighting would help
