Here's a fun ASB scenario: What if Russia was in Ukraine's position right now (had a democratic government, was trying to join the EU, lacked nuclear weapons/WMDs/chemical weapons and the means to quickly build them, received a lot of Western support and assistance, including of a military nature, et cetera) while China was in Russia's position right now (had the world's second-largest nuclear weapons stockpile by far, had a dictatorial government, was hostile to Russia's pro-EU and pro-Western path, recently invaded Russia in an attempt to conquer all of it and impose regime change there, et cetera)? How exactly would Russia act being the underdog in this TL and how exactly would China act being the overdog in this TL? What exactly would Russia have done differently from Ukraine and what exactly would China have done differently from Russia in this scenario?
