Oh no I mean in that Bulbasaur had the best attitude IMHO in the cartoon. I rewatched it with my kids. I never realized Bulbasaur was like a vigilante protecting orphaned Pokemon as his origin story.

And he was apparently the most cynical and pragmatic of the trio as well. Charmander and Squirtle were kinda less mature, the former being a bit more aggressive as he grew older of course and the latter just being more silly and goofy while Bulbasaur was all... being the realist or something. It was pretty neat.

It really came out in the episode where the three of them plus Pikachu and the two Team Rocket Pokemon all had to survive on their own together and were sharing their life philosophies with each other.
