So, at some point just after the start of the Horus Heresy a bored ROB decides to "clone" the Emperor's soul and stick it in a new body in another universe.

Said body is that of one Sheev Palpatine, aka Darth Sidious, aka some guy who decided to Copycat True Emps.
To clarify, Emps gets all force powers and memories of Palpy's along with his own, which are linked to his soul.Like in the usual soul transfer Isekai.

For the GFFA this happens right after the first Deathstar blows up.

Bonus round: Instead of normal Emps we get the soul of TTS-verse Emps!

Shouldn't be too hard to discern the Imposter due to the fake Emps lack of memory and general knowledge of the Star Wars galaxy and everything else, plus force sensitives like Darth Vader would be likely able to sense the disturbance in said force as well.

Don't see this being a stable transfer of power at all. Plus I don't think the Force is a proper substitute for drawing Psyker power from the Warp. They're pretty different.

It'll turn out more poorly for the Empire generally speaking IMHO.

Also calling Palpatine a copycat of the God Emperor is pretty backwards logic. The timelines don't even make sense if they were similar, which they barely are. If anything, just comparing these two franchises it'd be Warhammer copying Star Wars if anything.

Eh... unless you are considering disney trash tier fanfic to be canon (it isn't). then sheev is not all that impressive and his powers and everything else are practically irrelevant.

As for the sith... he exterminates those. The sith in his view are just evil out of control psykers. And they are weaker psykers than he is
