German war crimes in occupied Poland during WW2

Not victims this time - but military prisoners.For unknown reasons,german genociders treated polish officers as if germans were actually civilized,not murdered them.

And,since polish officers behaved like polish officers,german soldiers who worked there thought that it is all big General staff - all poles were serious and polite.

Born 4.03.1884, become monk in 1918.
In 1939 was in Włocławek and do not run,becouse he thought that germans are cyvilized people./germans promised send them to german convent/
German knights send him to Dachau.Murdered in 1942 - he belived german again,that they would send him to another camp.They murdered him instead.

Michał Wozniak

Polish priest,born 9.9.1875,become priest 29.9.1906.During WW1 saved church bells in Chojnaty from german thieves.
Since 1938 in Gnojno.
Arrested 6.10.1941 with other priest.,10.10.1941 send to Dachau. with number 28203..Died 16.05.1942 after tortures.
He could hide,but refused,becouse feared that people who warned him would be murdered.

Father Piotr Gołąb,Verbite -
born 18.1.1888 ,1.10.1915 become monk,but still send to austrian military hospital.
From 1924 worked in Górna Grupa.Germans arrested all monks 28.10.39,send to first Sztutow,ext Dachau with number 22601 ,when he was arleady ill.germans beaten him,so his state become worst ,but he still helped others and was polite.
In german death camp it was heroic behaviour.
Died 26.5.1943.

Konstanty Krefft .

Born 7.3.1867,become priest 23.2.1895.
In 1939 worked in Tuchola,built church there/his third/
Arrested 30.9.39, asked germans for let him finish building church,and he would come back.
German answer was :
"we knew,that you are mad about building churches,which we must destroy next"
Send to Stutthof,died from hunger 11.6.1940.

P.S His church was finished after war.But,germans being germans,they certainly try destroy it now !

German Death camp in Działdowo

First camp for polish soldiers/which was not murdered/,later DL Soldau,and finally AEL Soldau - officially educational work camp.

German teachers educated 25-30k poles there to their deaths,among 60k prisoners.
Well,some murdered were jews,but germans edcucated them all the same.

Among victims were 2 polish bishops - Antoni Nowowiejski and Leon Wetmański.

That is problem with germans - they ALWAYS want educate others,and people not always survive that....

Antoni Ludwiczak,born 16.5.1878.
Priest since 1903.Served during uprising in 1919 against germans as chaplain in polish army.
Before WW2 created catholic University in Dałki near Gniezno.
Since 1938,served in Chełmce parish.Arrested by gestapo after 2 months of war.Send to many german camps,finally to Dachau/14.12.1940/, murdered by germans 17.6.1942.

3/4.7.1941 germans,with ukrainian police help,murdered polish professors and their families.
German ubermensch stolen all their property.
Which,according to german law,is legal german property now.
They murdered 37 persons.

Dutch living in Lwów,Pieter Menten,helped germans in stealing their property,especially art collections.
After WW2,nobody was punished.

Henryk Kaczorowski,born 10.07.1888 ,first worked as teacher,then 13.06.1914 become priest.
After WW1 become doctor of theology.
Since 1928 rector of theological seminar in Włocławek.He teached his students not only how to pray,but also be strong,using military drill.
In 1939 become papal prelate.Arrested by gestapo 7.11.1939,3.04.1941 send to Dachau with number 24547 .Beaten by german bandits,and worked to death,finally murdered 6.5.1942.
Before german knights send him to gas chamber,tell one of his pupil to not be sad,and pray.

Helena Staszewska,born 30.06.1890,later teacher,become nun in Ursuline abbey in 1921.

In 1939 was leader of abbey in Rociny Podchalańskie.
Becouse they helped all who need help,including jews,gestapo warned them.
They still helped,26.I.1943 finally arrested,3.03.1943 send to Auschwitz with number 38.102.
After few months get typhus,and died 27.7.1943 with 'Magnificat" on her lips.

Fort III Modlin

German started gathering prisoners in 1941 there.First polis farmers,then polish priest and jews.
When all jews get murdered till 1943,they started murdering farmers who helped partisants.
In 1944 they tortured catched polish underground soldiers,both Home Army and nationalists,but nobody split anytching.
More then 281 were murdered then.

One of victims was Zofia Krauze,when german knigfhts tortured her ,she laught at them and song silly songs to show her concept.
Other was dr.Józef Witwicki - before germans murdered him,he helped other prisoners.

German heroes after killing last prisoners drunk themselves.

In Jasło.german gestapo murdered poles - but,in the same town,there was Wermacht,Kripo,gendermaries and Schutzpolizei.
5.08.1943 in night,5 persons attacked prison,and freed 66 political prisoners.
They leaved prison cospleing as gestapo leading column of prisoners.

Germans do not manage to catch even one prisoner.

Stanisław Kubski,born 13.8.1876.

Become priest in 1900,participated during Greatpoland uprising in 1919,in 1920 joined army as chaplain.Worked in Inowrocław.
Arrested by germans 8.9.1939 - send to Dachau,then KL Buchenwald,then Dachau again with number 21878Do not despaired,and prayed on rosary made by himself there.
Murdered in may 1942.

Władysław Mączkowski - born 24.06.1911,2.5.37 becomed priest.In 1939 send to Szubin,after gestapo arrested other priests there he was hidden by good people.
Send to Łubów near Gniezno,arrested there 26.8.1940,eventually send to Dachau with number 22760.Helped others and prayed with them,but becouse he was unable to fake his work,he become weaker and died 20.8.1942.

Remember folks - when germans or soviets send you to camp,you must pretendt to work if you want to live !

Alfons Maria Mazurek - born 1.03.1891,become Carmelite monk and priest in 1916.
In 1939 worked in abbey in Czerna as prior,helping everybody he could help,but still continuing to teach next generation of monks.
Germans arrested all monks ,but murdered only him for unknown german reasons,he died with rosary in his hand.

After capturing od city,germans murdered injured in many hospitals,all in all - ok 15.000 people including cyvilians nearby.
