From the first world, to the next world, and now to this. You are the gods. You lead the peoples of the New World. Almost all of you are going to be known as the "Native" gods of the land. You lead peoples from the previous world to this one, and now all of you have come upon a mysterious malady. Once deities, similar to the great gods of the Eastern lands, you have all lost nearly all of your powers. Still respected, you gods have come to rest on the most sacred of mountains, on a village filled with other spirit beings. Your malady is now mysteriously gone, just as quickly as it came. However, your strength is still gone, though you have recovered enough to leave the holy mountains. Before you leave, the Wisest of all the elders, The Eldest, has called the gods to meet in the council. It is well known that there is trouble all over the lands of the West. Perhaps this council could have something to do with that.

Elievet stays on the outskirts of this gathering as these overly tall, loud, and boisterous individuals are strangers to her. Her eyes remain alert, but she is neither overly familiar and friendly nor hostile and aggressive. Any who seek to speak with her will get a hearing from the crossbow toting gnomette, but otherwise she is quiet.

Dark hair, dark eye, pale skinned, cloaked and robed, Intei keeps to the shadows, protecting and hording knowledge and wielding the magics of shadows and night. Or he did, not just a cloaked man with few spells, Intei sits back to the fire, watching the shadows of those gathered, reading them in hope of finding a clue to the gathering.

Tchar slowly walks around the gathering. His long brown hair falls behind him while a braid in front of each ear keeps it from obscuring his vision. Tchar seems quite pleased with his situation. He is breathing deeply through his nose smelling all that the wind brings him, and his toes tend to curl in the grass with each step as if luxuriating in the thick carpet. Tchar wanders through those gathered, giving everyone an open look from his radiant eyes. A look filled with delight and curiosity in equal measure.

*glances over at Intei and nods, recognizing a fellow watcher, before turning attention back to the main gathering, content to allow this 'eldest' to lead the discussion*

On a whim, Elievet adjusts her crossbow across her back, stretching a little. She'd certainly been affected by the strange malaise, which she was convinced had come from these newcomers to the lands, but hopefully she'd be able to return to her people before those who threatened them from the sea returned.

The Eldest
The Eldest, oldest and most powerful of the gods looked over the assembly before him. He slowly made his way to the stone table and finally stopped. He tapped the floor with his staff. "It's time for the people to learn."
"We have friends here among us with the same problems we do. Sadly for her, she knows weakness as we do. However, the mysterious curse that has afflicted us is gone. We can now grow stronger."

"That's where we have better fortune." The Eldest still had a serious look on his face. "It's time for you to leave the Sacred Mountain. However with our good fortune comes more unfortunate news. Only I, and a few others are still the gods of our peoples as we were in the last world."

"However, you can leave the Mountain village, and heal the land wherever you go. In doing this, you will regain the power you once had, in full."

"Which brings me to more bad news. For some reason, I don't know why, I, and the others of my strength, cannot leave the Mountains."

"It may be a good idea to try and find out why this is."

Elievet lifts an eyebrow slightly. "Indeed, I can only hope that the foul demons who rule the Tattooed folk of the Deep Sea are equally diminished, lest they overwhelm my people. Whatever caused this malady is deeply disturbing, as many of my family have succumbed." Her voice turns a bit frigid at this. "I pray that you are not responsible for this, for it would pain me to have to welcome you to these lands with war. Know this, my people are peaceable enough if left alone, and willing to trade with those who come to us honestly. Seek to invade our home, however, and know that our diminutive stature is not indicative of our strength. I must be off, for my people need me."

She looks over the assembled godlings, all strange tall beings much different than herself. "Farewell."

She makes to depart, settling her crossbow on her back as she prepares for the journey to her island home.
