Due to some rights fuckery that I don’t know how to adequately explain, it’s actually owned by Constellation Brands. Everywhere outside of America, Modelo is owned by AnB.

So Modelo sold in America is not actually profitable to AnB.

I sort of wish German beers were more popular in the US. Thanks to their beer purity laws I can actually drink them without having to worry about an allergic reaction. But most bars here don't sell German beers well unless you go to a hipster joint but who wants to do that?

Coors Original/Coors Banquet is probably about the closest to German beer purity laws you will find in the US for a large brand.

Sometimes smaller towns/cities may have a micro-brew that does some beers to those purity laws, but most of the US beer drinking tradition came from the English/Anglos/Spanish, not Germans, so the German beer purity laws were never very important to US drinkers.

Edit: Miller High Life may also be up your alley.

So, in Texas there is a city called Fredricksburg.
They actually have to makenthiers to German standards because they are a twin city if a town in Germany.
I don't know if they sell nation wide though.

Drink them all day problem is that most craft beers get bought out by the big brands and they fuck up the recipe.

Potentially able to get them if you can contact the sellers that get them in Austin and hoe you can get then that way, is the best option I can give for American German beer
