Apperently NO didntnevac cause they didn't have time at least according to the Mayor earlier this week.

Honestly this is the first I've heard of the storm. Its hitting Louisiana square on which explains why I haven't heard about it over here in Texas. How is Alabama doing?

How is Alabama doing?
According to this a mix.

Honestly the state will most likely experience two waves of storms related to Ida, the first being when the storm makes direct land fall and the second being when despite being slowed down immensely over Mississippi the storm hits the right air rotations and proceeds to spawn severe storms as well as possible tornado's when it changes course back over Alabama and into Tennessee.

Overnight low is 56°F here.

That is a very welcome change from about a week of hot days in a row with sunset temperatures in the mid-80s and dewpoints of about 70°F.

I am so done with summer.
