reenactors firing the 40mm AA Bofors. What I found novel and fascionating was that Regulations had, when shooting at land targets, the layer and calculator (the two guys standing behind the elevation guy) hopped off the mount, leaving the firing to the vertical guy (who could depress the barrle below 0 degrees)

reenactors firing the 37mm AT Bofors. Nicely shows how much smaller and nimbler it was compared to the AA weapon. And hints at why infantry stuck with their 37-45mm guns for so long - human power mobility!

A 37 could still pop the track or destroy a wheel on a tank. Plus it could be used on a bunker.. Fun fact the mg on the M-5 Stuart had the same range as it's 37mm gun. The training manual stated you could fire a burst from the mg to see if the enemy was in range.

I thought that it is american,too.But - jews in 19th century take surnames becouse goverments wants so/before that they vere just X son of Y/ ,so Motel Pinkerton father or grandfather could just choose it.

Convicted of treason, but only on one count out of the eight she was charged with, and the sentence handed down was only ten-to-thirty; she was paroled after twelve.

In my opinion, anyone convicted of actual treason who is not executed, should be stripped of U.S. citizenship and exiled after completion of whatever custodial sentence.

The Mark 153 SMAW rocket launcher uses a spotting rifle until the Mod 2 version that was just introduced in 2020.

The British Centurion, Chieftain and Scorpion tanks notably used a spotting gun -- in the Scorpion this was simply a coaxial MG with ballistically matched ammunition, on the Centurion and Chieftain it was a separate machine gun mounted directly over the main gun.

From what I've read, the judge gave Gillars a more lenient sentence because there was no evidence that she played a role in high-level propaganda planning as the others on trial for similar charges had been.

That said, there were unconfirmed reports that she and her husband had tricked American POWs into speaking with them when they toured POW camps in 1943 by claiming to be representatives of the International Red Cross, then edited the interviews before broadcasting them. This appears to have not been part of the charges actually brought to trial; my impression is that the prosecution was rather lazy because they had an airtight case.

(It is mentioned regarding Douglas Chandler that he *did* automatically lose citizenship for being convicted of treason, so it's possible that this simply wasn't mentioned in the article regarding Gillars; but even if she lost citizenship, she was permitted to remain in the United States after being paroled and that is rather outrageous.)

I try not to call out people but ATP spends an unhealthy amount of time talking about Jews in a negative light. I almost exclusively criticize the government/state of Israel (Israel being roughly 20% Arab/Muslim unless you forgot) yet he almost never gets called out for his antisemitism. As a free speech absolutist I support the right to unpopular views making themselves heard but as a liberal-leaning centrist I also support the rights of the majority to disassemble and dismantle said fringe views as they see fit, I'll let anyone probably more pro-Jew/identarian than myself take it from here

1.During WW2 germans tried to destroy painting "Battle of Grunwald" - becouse it showed defeat of Teutonic Knights.They failed,but it is really funny that people who hated christianity and prosecuted real Teutonic Knights fought over painting who show their defeat.

2.There is myth about knightly Wermaht - but,thanks to letters from front,we knew that it is bullshit.

Ultimatelly,they become normal unit in 1629.

Pity,maybe even they still existed,Poland would not fall.

German troops after capturing Częstochowa knightly murdered some civilians,and robbed abbey in Mstów.Becouse famous polish abbey in Częstochowa was in danger,Austria send there troops to defend it - 26.4.1915 9 austrian catholic soldiers come under command of Captain Józef Kleittner.

It was named Kaiserliche und Konigliche Enklave Jasna Góra.



Thanks to them,germans do not steal anytching there,like in rest of occupied Poland.
4.11.1918 polish army take over peacifully.


5.Soviets after 1941 could not bomb Germany,so they bombed occupied Warsaw instead.Biggest attack was 13.5.1943 when they manage to murder about 300 polish civilians,and kill 17 germans.

During entire war,they murdered more then 1000 poles.After WW2 nobody could told about that,and even now victims are forgotten.
