Japan Mulls Deploying Military to Help Protect US and Taiwan From China

Well, this is certainly a reverse from the last time Japan deployed it's military, and frankly I trust the JSDF to have better equipped and prepared ships than the US 7th Fleet these days.

Also, it shows that even if the Biden regime welshes on it's protection of Taiwan, Tokyo is ready and willing to do it regardless of any cowardice from DC.

If what the Biden delegation recently showed, even China doesn't care enough to try and bribe them.

So basically, what is going to happen is we are going to respond quickly and heavily with the 7th fleet along with combined effort from Japan and most likely Korea and Australia

I'm not confident in the condition of the 7th Fleet.

They've been overworked, underfunded, and undermanned for years. They had those destroyers that got rammed by merchants ships because they were in such shoddy shape.

They seem very much like the US Asiatic Fleet from WW2, in terms of the issues they face and we all know how badly the Asiatic Fleet got mauled in the opening days of WW2.

However, Japan's been cranking out high quality ships for the last few years and been beefing up their military overall at a faster pace than we have been. Australia has been as well.

So maybe the 7th Fleet will be able to do it's job without ending up with most of its ships on the bottom like the Asiatic Fleet.

China has been nursing a grudge for eighty years, and Japan knows that China won't shy away from repaying the Rape of Nanjing in kind.
In kind? Anti-Japanese feeling is one of the few outlets allowed by the CCP(and even then, that varies according to how convenient it is to the CCP) for the Chinese people. If China gets in position to do so, they will repay it with interest. Lots of it.

We still have two carriers.
That alone is enough to make a difference
