I would be interested in being a Mod, my politics are independent so I wouldn't be favoring one side or another.
I understand that that would mean me stepping into the political threads (which are infamous for burning out mods), but that's fine.

I don't usually go for moddom right off the bat, but maybe it'll be interesting for a while. I did admin an invision board once, but it's been a while and it's long dead.
I'll say this, though. If you wish for power, pray that you don't get exactly what you wish for, because power, like all things, is ephemeral. It comes and goes like the waves of the ocean and the seeker of power may find that he is lacking in other ways.
After all, if you want to know the character of a man, give him power. The character of a man defines how that power will be used. Therefore, a man of poor character will not be wise in its use.

This seems kinda risky just on its own without vetting. You need some form of system in which you can validate who or who is that person on SB.
Because having some option in which anyone can become mod overnight on here reeks of infiltration risk.
Just because someone posts here doesn't mean that they will be a mod. Just that they have at least some minimal interest in being one.
It is basically the very first round of the selection process.

I'd be interested. I've admin'd and moderated for small-time boards in the past (many years past, most private or long dead), but I have never been involved in a staff capacity on a more serious board. I think it would make an interesting change of pace, which I think would do me some good.
Recently I've more lurked than posted except in a couple SB threads, but when I have been active in the past, it's 99% been in CrW forums and the like. It's what I know and am most familiar with, so if this post is looked upon favorably, please know that that is where my primary interest lies. That being said, I can adapt.
