Hopefully it will be good, it's like he was on some kind of Hollywood black list for the last 25 years.
 
Mel Brooks is still alive? That surprises me more than the news of this movie, tbh!

I mean, Chappelle basically stole Brooke's "Jews in Space" bit for his recent standup on Netflix...

That said, here's hoping Brookes lets wokism have it with both barrels. He's said before many of his classics couldn't be made in modern Hollywood due to PC policing and the like, and doesn't sound happy about it. That said, he may well also be forced to toe the Woke line and only attack "safe" targets. We'll see...
 
So glad to hear Mel getting around to this. I was sure he wasn't going to bother and just pass on without ever making it.
 
He probably try to joke about leftist,but at the same time show bad white people as monsters,especially christian,and catholics as mix of Hitler and Mao.
In soviet times it worked that way - you could joke about smaller soviet mistakes,as long as you say how bad imperialists and Church are.

P.S there is old persian tory about King who wonted history of the world - and,becouse he never had time to read shortend versions of library made for him,on his deathbed some historian told him: "people was born,loved and died"
