Meme Thread for Both Posting and Discussing Memes

I'm not sure Trump was ever a puppet. I think Trump's ignorance of how badly Washington D.C. is plague ridden swamp that was extremely willing to lie to him was his weakness initially. Now, he's off the leash completely (IMO) and the bureaucratic establishment is pissing themselves.
Trump was never a puppet of Wall Street, he someone who didn't need Wall Street to get rich, because he focused on real estate and casino's, and general personal branding, instead of stocks, for his wealth.

Wall Street wishes it had 1% of the influence socialists and reactionaries think it did. They'd have hanged anyone who suggested tariffs (both candidates), enforced strict law and order, kept a uniform code of laws, and kept the border open and the welfare state shut.

Unfortunately, all Wall Street can do is vaguely wonder which candidate is going to harm their profit margins more out of sheer stupidity, and whether they are going to be blamed for the resulting job losses and inflation. The latter is a trick question, because they will.

I'm not sure I agree.

I do think it's not that simple, and they can't control what they unleashed, but there's a lot of corrupt guys who used their money to get things going their way. But, none of them can think of more than their own pockets.

And, every time they put their thumb on the scales, they don't see the side effects. You can make a massive amount of money that way, but things get very, very strained as a result.

Even if they saw what was happening, stopping it? That's much, much harder. What are you going to do? Bribe the corrupt to be lawful?

Now, a meme!

admittedly for me the keep up with means listening to others kvetch about it and 5 years ago was Iron Man 3 so about 2013... goddamn that's been more than a decade at this point.
The last marvel movie I watched was dead pool. Or maybe guardians of the galaxy. Can't remember which was more recent.

Haven't watched or followed since. Didn't watch most of them before. Marvel/Super Heros are gay.

I'm going to echo Bigking here.

What information specifically?
That RBG was actually more self-serving than her liberal sycophants made her out to be mainly, and she was at odds with them. I'd have more respect for the "liberal" establishment if they were just more honest about how conservative they were, unless they were just faking conservatism to distance themselves from the left

...the idea that high-ranking leftists are much more self-serving and much less idealistic is far from news to conservatives.

We are quite well aware of how narcissism and corruption are rife throughout Democrat leadership.

So it's probably they're just faking conservatism to distance themselves from the left?
...Knew it
After all neocons can be pretty socially liberal.
