'Ok' Hand Gesture added to List of 'White Supremacist Hate Symbols' By Anti-Defamation League

Cherico, or somebody else?

Honestly, I think they're even more pissed, given that the "Nazi's" in their pics tend to be actual list of right-wing stereotypes plus being skinheads or "Incels" even

Yeah, they really like lumping the "nerds" who were bullied or looked down on by the cool kids(or that's just Hollywood) with actual Nazis
Huh. That's pathetic, just pathetic.

Mostly the author.

Worm authors look to be obsessing over the E88 these days, even though they get beaten and rendered barely much of a big presence relatively early on

And they act like they're the Civilian Council from Naruto Fanon, Marvel Civilians & Anti-Mutant & Anti-Superhero dudes or those usual groups in Edgy Isekai Series who are some social or political or economic or racial/species elite who exist to be living hate-sinks and sort of have society on their side or something

Sometimes even for the most inane and suicidal reasons

The left hate nerds. They hate fandoms. They see them all as problematic and want to get rid of them so as to get normies and woke hipsters. They also hate fandoms cause fandoms resist the changes they want to make. This is why mainstream is bad.

This is why I don't want anime and Manga to become popular in the west. If it becomes popular, they will try to get rid of the stuff they consider problematic stuff to make it likable to the critics and earn good SJW praising.

The sad thing is that Japan does yaoi and yuri pairings and its not a problem cause Japan does not change somebody already existing to please an agenda. They just create a new character or story to represent the thing they want to discuss about.

An example of what I mean:

@LifeisTiresome
What differentiates the population that is on our sister sites and on FFN from the rest of the Fandom? Lots look to REALLY like Carl “Captain ‘I used to dress feminine and sexy but went butch Lesbian and maybe transitioned’ Marvel” Manvers and go on about how hot and sexy she is and look to be fans of Brie Larson even though the Captain Marvel series’ have been axed too many times in a few years and the fact that the movie needed to get shilled and edited reviews to be considered great

Thing is, even if it does get popular in the West, I don’t think those being mostly changed would be the creators in Japan, it will be the majority of the localizers who like SONY are already doing it

Don’t forget, even their Yuri Pairings at the very least use cute and/or sexy females

The Western Far Left is too much into making women androgynous to masculine in appearance

Why should we care?

Seriously, we do not need to drag those issues into this thread.

If you want to do that, take it to the Drama Thread in the NSFW section.

Alright, that said, gotta admit, it’s silly stuff that Trolls getting the Far Left to believe in that looks to be part of their ever increasing death knell

Thing is, not as much anymore. They'll either call you an Uncle Tom or something else along those lines, or actually just unironically call you a Nazi. This is part of where the NPC name for them really fits.
Naw theyve always done that. They still stumble around before doing so. Online at least I'm a pretty large mean looking individual. So it rarely if ever happens in person. They at least seem to have basic survival instinct. ;) ;)

Looking over the ADL's original article, two things jump out at me.

1. The provided reasoning and explanation for why the ok symbol is a white supremacist symbol doesn't quite fit. They mention it's now being used as a "genuine example" after it started as a joke, but I don't think that quite tracks. "1488" is a white supremacist symbol, but it doesn't just mean "white supremacy is great", it means "the white race exists as a distinct race and must be preserved", and then whatever 88 is for. I think it's something about hilter but don't know offhand and don't care to look. A lot of other stuff is similar, even that fake thing about milk being a white supremacist symbol had a some bullshit about lactose intolerance tacked on to explain why it was being used as a symbol and what it meant.

The ok hand symbol doesn't have that, it just means "white supremacy", which doesn't really fit how those poeple communicate per the ADL's own write up. It's still a joke, in fact it's still the same joke about how the media are gullible idiots, and when white supremacists use it, that's what they use it to say.

2. Along with the ok symbol, they're adding the happy merchant to thier list of hate symbols. I find this troubling, not because they're wrong (it's 100% an unironic racist meme), but because they're doing this now. That meme's been a well known thing since, per know your meme, like 2012-ish. I'm concerned it took the ADL 7 years to cotton on to that and put it on thier list, did they just look at this picture for years and years and go "no, this is fine, nothing antisemitic about this"?

Maybe one of the board members was fond of it? "Ah, good meme, I'm sending that to my banking brother in law. He'll get a hoot out of that". I've definitely met jews who exploit their Jew pass to make sorta anti Semitic jokes. Like the Jewish girl in high school who liked to make holocaust jokes.

We've already had one person fired for making an OK sign next to a child in a photograph when they were in costume as a worker at an amusement part... The picture happened months ago. The family feels "irrepairably damaged" by the traumatic experience, of course.

SJW's don't exist

Anybody talk about this stuff on our Sister Sites?
