So... Saints Row is a much beloved franchise which... with Saints Row IV... really jumped the plot shark. Without a serious retcon (Saints Row has plenty of retcons after all with in universe reasons for people to come back for example) And taking Gat Out of Hell into consideration, where exactly... would you take a sequel of Saints Row if given the ability and resources to plot out that game idea?
Now generally some things happened rather canonically:
The Alien Conqueror Zinyak Blew Up Earth.
The Saints and Surviving Humans Are On a SpaceShip.
Johnny Gat Went Into Hell and Defeated Satan, Earning Gods Favor.
Where should Saints Row go from there?
Two of the endings from Gat Out of Hell seem relevant to this as sequel bait.
1. God Finds a New Home For What Remains of Humanity.
Johnny returns to The Ship, where Kinzie has found a perfect planet to serve as a homeworld. However, it is inhabited by a psychotic warlike race, making this their toughest fight ever. Johnny smiles and thanks God. This could be seen as the Saints Row IVK Ending so to speak IMHO.
2. Have God recreate the Earth and retcon the entire world of Saints Row.
This could be seen as basically a retcon which wouldn't be a proper sequel IMHO unless you only utilize the first part "ie God recreates the Earth" and maybe he does it with everyone that died when the planet exploded coming back to life? This could open up the story in different ways.
Where would you take the Saints Row franchise if given that unlimited Creative Power?
