Nice to see you here pal. There are many changes compared to the AH version.
Mostly minor but I did improve the readability of the scene as a whole.
Other chapters will see changes as well and there will be new chapters here that are not found on AH.
I think this forum does not have that many members to appreciate your work pal. Word has yet to spread. Frankly, I joined this forum when you posted the link of Red Baron TL in AH. Unfortunately, I am weak in pre-nazi history of Germany. I do know there was the Weimar Republic and that sums up my knowledge on post-Great War Germany.I'm surprised that no one has commented on the historical accuracy of this chapter lol.
I literally made this thing as historically accurate as possible, using all known facts available.
Will he and the Nazi's be Anti-semitic in this TL?Yes. He appears in the next chapter, of which the new version (Sietch version) will be released some time this week.
Yes.
Because no matter what happens, Nazis are still Nazis.
I'm not one of those writers that turn Nazis into Notzis.
Not necessarily.
There was a godawful amount of corruption and inefficiency in Nazi Germany.
As well as terrible planning and general stupidity.
Economically, Nazi Germany was not particularly inferior in any aspect.
It was mismanagement, stupid impractical ideas, and corruption that brought down the Reich.
Problems that all had to be resolved before WW2.
Hence the POD of 1917.
Anti-Slavism wasn't always a part of Nazism.
It only became established after Max von Scheubner Richter was killed at the Munich Putsch.
Before his death, Max von Scheubner Richter organized connections between White Russian emigres and German Nazis.
After his death, the whole thing went downhill.Aufbau Vereinigung - Wikipedia

The simplest way to change that is for there to be no putsch.
Not necessarily.

What happened to chapter two? I've planned a Red Baron story for a long time but haven't gotten around to writing it. Mostly different from your story from what I have seen.Yes. He appears in the next chapter, of which the new version (Sietch version) will be released some time this week.
I'll be getting back to updating this story very soon.
Been busy with other stuff.
I totally agree that this a incredibly underrated and under-used POD.
After all, his brother Lothar (who was even more daring than Manfred) survived the war
And given his cousin Wolfram's success in WW2, the von Richthofens in charge of the Luftwaffe would be a living nightmare for the Allies and Soviets
Manfred was a strategist and tactician, unlike that fat drunkard of a Nazi, Goering
