ROB demands that you destroy the Disney SW GFFA, creatively

For this, you shall have near ROB powers, but mainly the idea is to move multiversal "chess pieces" around for mest effect.

You have but three directives:

1) MAKE IT FUNNY!
2) Try and be original and creative while going about it.
3)Make sure that the stupidity that is the Disney canon GFFA and all it's Mary sue or absolute cliche incompetent inhabitants suffer.

You can summon any force from any timeline, increase it in size or "requisition" it multiple times and you can mix and match weapons with people and the like.

Now, entertain the ROB!

I think I'd start by releasing Gru and his Minions on Disney...I'm still working on the best plan.
No,no,no, you need to mess up and fuck over their version of the GFFA, not go after Disney.
I ha e a thread about thqt where you get to be the boss of thet company. ;)

Give Black Dynamite a bucket full of Sith Holocrons and tell him he needs to seduce the personification of the dark side to get back home (this, like most promises of the Dark Side, is a lie). Drop him off in a Coruscant brothel and watch as he bitch slaps his way across the Galaxy.

Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade and Dr. Aphra. Transported to before the Clone Wars start... Luke opens up a Therapy clinic on Coruscant using several Twileks he saved from slavery.

Classic Legends Grevious would have the setting for breakfast. Not only can he take on Disney Wars Jedi but is an actual competent leader and commander.

Dr. Aphra is from Disney Wars.

Attempt to market Faro Automated Solutions' product line to Confederacy of Independent Systems. Same guys whose penny-pinching left them trying to win a war fielding the absolute jokes which were B1s are going to love the thought of only having to purchase one droid and have it build them an army.

Summon Wookieepedia and point out to the ROB that the GFFA was actually a creative fart of the pre-Disney Legendsverse. :)

Explain please.

GFFA was the lame concept (or at least name) brought in by Legends Writers after the Yuuzhang Vong saga. It predates Disney quite significantly.

Disney never acknowledged anything Vong related or anything New Jedi Order or later that occurred so it's likely still not part of Disney canon and since the Sequel Trilogy kinda overlaps that time period in the chronology it makes it even less likely.

So basically AFAIK there is no GFFA in Disney canon.

Ya'll are talking past each other.

In Disney canon, the GFFA stands for "Galaxy Far Far Away." It's literally just an acronym for the Star Wars galaxy.

In Legends canon, it stands for "Galactic Federation of Free Alliances" which was the successor state to the New Republic when that fell apart after the Vong War.

GFFA is pretty much what we used most of the time to signify the Galaxy Far Far away in VS debates, some geniuses called the "Corusca" galaxy, too, because reasons.

The Vong?

I am glad that Disney axed that shit, adn other garbage like Crystal Star and tCoPL.

While the EU was orders of magnitude better than Disney SW in aggregate, but that does not mean that huge chunks of it did not suck ass and were not self-contradictory.Solo trilogy, too.

Once the dust settles and Disnely canon is decanonized it will be good to pick and choose what to retain.

Probably the only good bits are Thrawn, Dark Empire and maybe some of the Clones-related and Fett related stuff.

I always thought that the X-Wing run was pretty good.

Actually, I rather liked most of the EU till we got to the Vong.
I never read the X-Wing stuff, I assume you are referring to Truce of Baccura/Wedge-related stuff?

In any case, I read the Thrawn trilogy and the Solo trilogy when I was a kind, translated, of course, then I read tCoPL and crystal star a lot later, didn't like them, and then the Vong came into the picture.
Other than that I read Dark Empire and some Karen Travis stuff that felt like it was a refurbished, passed over pick from Baen's slush pile and some of the "Tales of/from..." collections.

So my view is that the majority of Wars EU stuff is below par, some is excellently and some is complete, setting breaking bullshit.

You're not wrong that some of it completely went off the rails.

Correct on the XWing stuff. Thrawn is excellent.

I was just exposing Murder Furries bro... :(

I was mildly surprised Agent23 responded considering how often she breaks discussions to point out how she's blocked me, so my shitposting shifting into trolling unexpectedly.
Naw, you revealed yourself as a furry apologist there. ;)

Getting back on track:

Yoda: "Always two there are, a master, and an apprentice."
Mysterious Voice: "Actually, we come as a set of three!"

Warner Brothers (and the Warner Sister) is literally declaring war on Disney and I'm here for it!

Or maybe not, the last thing we need is more Multiverse media...
