Russia(gate/bot) Russia-Ukraine War Politics Thread Mk. 2

A total creep
The over simplified explanation is Coptic was a move to make heiroglyphs more accessible to ordinary people started by the Greek settlers from Alexander's conquest.
Are you sure? Not confusing demotic with coptic script?
But EOT as not to get The Boot ...

Polish foreign policy expert reveals some behind the scenes details of the rumored peace deal between Ukraine and Russia from April 2022 that gets lots of silly conspiracy theories centered around it.
Spoiler: It was as obviously bad faith as you could imagine.

You’ll forgive me if I take anything Poland says about or involving Russia with a grain of salt. Much like I would with Poland saying stuff about Germany.

Ukraine will fight until the globalist have gotten the last drop of native blood from them. Then it’s migrants being rail roaded from the Middle East.
The Ukrainians seem to want to fight u til the end.
He'll, we could cut funding and they would fight until they are wiped out.
Remeber they were fighting tooth and nail BEFORE tons if western aide got sent over

I will not forgive it from anyone who takes anything coming out of Moscow seriously.

Putin and his allies are railroading migrants from ME even more openly than globalists, so consider who you are simping for.
Thieving and tresonous scum or pillaging el presidentes, there's no reason why we can't hate both.

The Ukranians remember what the russians did to them the last time they were in charge....it gives quite the motivation to fight.

You seem as usual to be blaming Ukraine for the crime of Russia. The proven crimes of Russia.

I stand by what i said. Go back and read it again, and again, and again, until you understand it.

You asked what data i prefer, and i gave you western and Ukrainian data. Just not mediazona. Sorry, i refuse to recognize the superiority of mediazona data over the abovementioned, sue me, i think the opposite is true.

Can you stop pushing crude statistical wizardry attempts?

No it would not.
Have you heard of cremation and grave reuse?
Are you trolling or have you genuinely not heard of such things?
For one Russian funeral industry is doing very well and military burials are its big new thing:

Internet translators are crap, news at eleven. I don't know Ukrainian so i will not make definitive statement, but i know another slavic language and this claim looks dodgy to me.

No, it does not mean that, and if you think it does, everyone can make their conclusion out of that.

Absolutely not.

There is no study of the same methodology and statistical environment in Russia, so you are trying to compare statistical apples to statistical oranges, so it literally cannot.

I will answer them if i feel like it.

It says internet translators cannot be trusted to be accurate in such nuanced definitions.

Does 30% more constitute "largerly"?

There is no universal definition distinguishing close friend from friend, every person's line between these two lies elsewhere, hence, statistically it's junk data.

Not just friends, friends and family, so please, don't run with bad definitions.
Secondly, compared to your link, so is it 6 to 20, or 40? I was trying to point out how wildly different results can theorizing on how many friends the average person has give, varying with who, where and how exactly asks who, hence i say it is extremely unreliable data for the purpose of establishing war losses. And i'm not interested in using statistical voodoo to try support pro-Russian narratives, i know other people are, but i will not give my seal of approval to their efforts, quite the opposite.

But nearly all of the refugees would know dead people, and a whole lot of people living near the pre-war areas also obviously have a lot of friends and family there.

They aren't killing hundreds of thousands, tens of thousands maybe.

I was originally going to reply to this on a point by point basis, but I no longer have to. Ukrainian officials came out and admitted their actual casualty count is 500,000+, which is the exact figure I gave in a previous post to you as a lower estimate.

Here's the official on camera saying exactly this, in an interview with a Ukrainian news channel:

You mean the disgraced, corrupt official who was not a military official, was involved in political drama, and probably is thinking of getting in good graces of certain countries that have no extradition treaty with Ukraine?
Yeah, totally trustworthy guy with no motives to contribute to propaganda against Ukraine at all.
Just like the guy whose tweet you are quoting (at least it's an open West hating vatnik piece of shit this time):

Can you please fuck off to one of the countries whose flags are pictured there instead of plaguing what remains of the West with your treasonous presence?

That's an odd claim, given he was literally a military official with extensive combat experience since early 2022:

In April 2022, 2 months after the beginning of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Lutsenko joined the Territorial Defence Battalion (of the Ukrainian Armed Forces) of Mykolaiv.[112]

According to his wife Iryna, Lutsenko was initially in the Territorial Defence Forces of Kyiv during the Kyiv offensive, and then took part in the Battle of Mykolaiv, 2022 Kherson counteroffensive, Battle of Soledar and the Battle of Bakhmut.[10][9]

In early 2023, Lutsenko was promoted to the rank of Kapitan.[10] On 20 February 2023 Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi appointed Lutsenko as the commander of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platoon.[10] The platoon was involved in the Battle of Bakhmut and was forced to withdraw from the city on 4 March 2023.[9]

It's also weird one of the top news channels in Ukraine, with 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube alone, would host a Russian propagandist, as you insinuate. Equally weird is Zaluzhnyi apparently has no idea he's a Russian asset.

Here is the same video, with auto-translation provided on YouTube, on the Ukrainian news' official channel.
