Of course not. But why would he oppose it?
Not really.
Then there is geography - Poland not only has the longest border with Belarus by far,
it is also the shortest route to the soft and generous west. Any migrants who cross to Latvia will have to go through Lithuania and Poland anyway, and those who cross through Lithuania will have to go through Poland too. So they think, why not just go the shortest distance and also risk messing with one country's law enforcement instead of 3.
As such, the target priority will go Poland>Lithuania>Latvia, and that's what we are seeing now.
If we fortify the border meaningfully better than Lithuania they will likely focus more on Lithuania again then.
There is also a problem with our "liberal" leftist media being as migrant obsessed as the western ones, and in turn the opposition is media guided. They are acting suspiciously exactly like the worst of western establishment parties, because they take their clues from the same media owned by the same companies and parroting the same political line, and beg for their favor too, except even more openly and desperately than the neighbors who do that, being the second rate servants they are.
Even fucking Tusk realized that migrant obsession is going to be PR kryptonite as far as the general public is concerned, but the younger, more western media obeying, more leftist wing of the party overruled him, ensuring that our opposition yet again drifts to the left in politics and down in the polls.
Not everybody, just anybody who will throw them good media coverage or money to buy it.
Also any love for Jews they have is in hope of inviting back a left leaning minority with lots of money to donate for activist media who are going to be the only thing standing between them and a fascist takeover (hahaha) to Poland from the diaspora in the west.
Also potential American NGO monies.
Oil money doesn't grow on trees, and the ones who control the oilfields don't need their services.
