Intresting point on this that should be brought up in any thread you see... What the democrats voted on was an updated bill with additions by Manchin...

That's right, the Democrats just voted to pass a federal and universal Voter ID requirement.

This is important because it completely invalidates the Far Left idea that Voter ID is inherently racist.

The bill would have never survived the Supreme Court even if it had passed.

You have to understand, the whole thing was a dog and pony show for their voter base so they could say they tried and then blame the mean old Republicans for it not passing or the mean old Supreme Court for it getting struck down.
