Serbia surrenders to Austria-Hungary in late 1914

What if Serbia would have surrendered to Austria-Hungary in late 1914?

In that thread, @raharris1973 says that they nearly did so:

Apparently, the Serbians nearly did so. So what if they had, what are the follow on consequences for the remainder of WWI ?

Apparently despite the unexpected difficulty and timespan it took for Austria-Hungary to defeat Serbia, Serbia did have its own problems in 1914. According to James Lyon in Serbia and the Balkan Front, 1914: The Outbreak of the Great War, Serbia suffered from a desertion epidemic and nearly surrendered to Austria-Hungary in November 1914.

Is there any chance that with the original cause for the war being removed, the Central Powers would become more willing to make peace along status quo ante bellum lines? Would the Entente actually agree to this? If not, could the CPs still launch the Gorlice-Tarnow Offensive (or something similar) in 1915 in order to create a German-Russian buffer zone and then sue for peace on status quo ante bellum lines with the exception that Poland, Lithuania, and Courland will all now become independent from Russia?
