Smarter Neandertals.

Just that - Neandertals easily picking new tools from other hominids.From here, N means Neanderthals.

1 - N mixed with denisovian take most of Asia,Beringia and in 125.000 BC go to America.Small groups of hunters with spears,for now.
2. - When homo sapiens come to Europe,N learn to made atlats,bows and live in bigger groups.Still control Europe,except Spain and part of Balkans.
3. - People come to America,N quickly learn to made atlatl and bows,but are not settled.
4. - settled people come 10.000 BC - N learn from them but lost Balkans.
5. - new settled people with sheeps and cattle come about 5000BC - take over France and Italy.

N still hold all mountain regions/they prefer them in OTL/

6. - bronze people come,take OTL Germany/no mountains/,N learn to made bronze.
7. - iron era people come,take over OTL Poland/no mountains/

About 500BC N still hold mountains,Scandinavia and lands from Belarus to Don./other taken by steppe people/

Result - all mountain people and slavic people are in our time mostly N,the same goes for North america indians.

Neantherthals were likely out competed due to their weaker throwing anatomy compared to humans. they were strong in melee, but could not throw stones and spears with as much ballistic force as humans. they were out competed in both hunting and war with human tribes because of this

with that said, some Neantherthal genetics still exist today because, as is the nature of human (and near human) warfare, the victorious males in any conflict take the females of the defeated tribe as their own and impregnate them. Neantherthal females would have been close enough to human females to be attractive to a high testosterone war band of human males so they would not have been just straight up put to genocide

but in any case, while Neantherthals are well acclimated to very cold climates and capable hunters of megafauna, even with more intelligence (which, do we even know exactly how intelligent they were let's be honest) just on anatomy alone it is very improbable that war band compose of Neantherthal males that look like this:

while robust and strong, yes...would out compete humans, particularly Indo-European humans males that look like this:

Could they use bows and atlats? if so,they could still survive.
And,i knew that 2% DNA of all people except africans belong to Neandthertals.

Here,i simply propose scenario where Neandertals are kind of genius copy-cats - they made quickly everything which is used by every new human groups.

Kind like japaneese.Considering,that their gods sometimes had red hairs,maybe they were Neandertals ?

But i want scenario where they survived to our times - so,i made them copycats.

A. Neanderthals was better prepared to live in mountains then average homo
B. there was 3 main waves of H.H coming to Europe.:
1.Hunters - 43.000 BC
2.Farmers from middle East - 6000BC
3.Bronze age nomads using horses - 2500 BC.

and,two inter glacial periods good for Neandtherthals to enter America -

i would also add,that Neandthertal females here prever Neandethral males,and vice versa.

So:

1.Neanderthals come to Americas about 130.000 BC as hunters and take both americas during next 10.000 years.
2.When hunters come to Europe and Siberia,Neandthertals quickly copy their better methods of making tools and weapons/bow,atlatl/ but do not merge too much - let say,that they keep Europe and are still,let say,95% pure.
The same goes for Siberia.
3.Farmers come 6000BC - they take Balkans/except mountains/ and Spain,but rest is keep bu Neandthertals who become mostly settled people
4.Bronze age nomads come and take France ,Polandand german territories except mountains - Neandertals keep entire Scandinavia,England,Ireland and Italy/and all mountains/
5.Indian hunter come to Americas,Neanderthal copy their weapons,but keep almost entire territory except tropical ones.
6.Celts come,take England and Ireland, and from that moment History is like OTL - with few exceptions:
1.Neanderthals still keep mountains and Scandinavia.
2.They keep most of Americas except warm countries/which mean no Incas - Neanderthals rule there,but Aztecs still come/


What next:

Europe:
1.Neanderthals keep their territories till at least medieval times in mountains,and till now in Scandinavia.Highlanders everywhere are still mostly Neanderthals.
2.Americas - Neanderthals keep mountains nad create there their own countries there,and cold regions like Canada and Alasca.
Rest - there would be probably no USA here,but some bigger English colony.
3.Siberia - Neanderthals there fight first tsar and later soviets,and have their own country now.

1.Americas - Neandertal Kingdoms in mountains of South america never get conqered,but eventually become catholics.They have strong economy and military now.
2.North America - Neandertal tribes in mountains hold against everybody,and now are british subjects - no USA here,or small and without power,british North America.

3.Europe - Scandinavia belong to Neandertals,they are catholics here,just like Carpathian neanderthal kingdom.
Mountaineers from other countrues are in 30-50% neanderthals,but part of their states.

Europe still belong to Kings,there was no revolution here.Poland never fall.
Moscov never become superpower.

4.Asia - Siberian Neandertal state,in allaince with India and Japan against China.
