Good news on the state legislature front—it looks like the democrats have flipped not a single-one, whereas in my home state the entire Tricameron was flipped R—the General Court and the Executive Council, in addition to the re-election of our popular Republican Governor, Chris Sununu, who previously had to contend with a unified democratic opposition in the General Court and the Executive Council.
(New Hampshire has a pseudo-tricameral system of government with a classic two chambers in what we call the General Court, and then a third called the Executive Council which serves as an elected check on the Governor’s power. All three and the Governorship are now Republican).
what happened in your state at the state legislature level?
