So who'd win.... the longtime deputy leader of the X-Men, Ororo "Storm" Munro versus the other Thunder God, Raiden. I am of course speaking of Raiden from Mortal Kombat, not the uhhh.... Metal Gear chap.

Going with the mainstream continuity (616) of Storm. Commonly utilized powers and abilities from that comic book timeline/continuity.

Raiden will be based off of the video game canon (reboot over original though both fair game for analysis).

Initial battlefield will be Galactic Senate Chambers of Star Wars with plenty of electronics to fry and backfire in hilarious and deadly ways as well as Senate pods that can go careening about.

I think Raiden takes this, he's a God of Thunder. If we had a canonical example of Storm throwing down with a god related to her domain, then I'd be inclined to side with her. But as it stands, it's "Mortal < God".

Has Thor and Storm butted head a lot before? Be interesting to see the context of their encounters since I would certainly think Thor is above Raiden in his achievements and capabilities typically.

They have a couple times. She did happen to be made a thunder god her self a time or two in comics with one of many hammers. So take that with you.
