The verdict in the Swiss case, which cannot be appealed, will have international ripple effects, most directly by establishing a binding legal precedent for all 46 countries that are signatories to the European Convention on Human Rights.
It indicates Switzerland has a legal duty to take greater action on reducing emissions.
If Switzerland does not update its policies, further litigation could follow at the national level and courts could issue financial penalties, Lucy Maxwell, co-director of the non-profit Climate Litigation Network, said.
Coming to America, reparations for minorities due to Climate Change damage to their health?

The Swiss women, known as KlimaSeniorinnen and aged over 64, said their government's climate inaction put them at risk of dying during heatwaves. They argued their age and gender made them particularly vulnerable to such climate change impacts.

Switzerland don't have Air Conditioning? Is that like how France like has a few hundred old people die every couple summers from those random heatwaves due to lack of air conditioning in their thousand year old homes they live in?

No you don't understand you have to eat duh boogz to save the Earth even though a Senator spends more carbon emissions in their private jet in a year than your entire bloodline and subsequent generations could make up for by not using electricity or eating meat.

A total creep
@Scooby Doo No Swedish women seem to be involved in this idiocy ... this time ... although some Swiss women are hitting Greta Thunberg lows. A good argument to retract litigation rights at 60 years of age :p
Yet one more reason to tell the ECHR a heartfelt fuck off.
The ruling will be ignored.
