Background Context:

After a mostly peaceful protest at the Capitol where peaceful protestors peacefully occupied the US Capitol on January 6th 2021, Vice President Mike Pence and Congress agree that the Democrats tried to steal the election and now Trump is President for another four years. Due to the controversial elections, all of the Congressional elections where Democrats ran against Republicans have the Democrats forfeit. With full control of the US House and a Super Majority everywhere else, Republicans have peaceful democratic control of all three branches of the government and have a full mandate to Make America Great Again.

Sadly, the rest of the world has decided that America is bad. Including America's most loyal vassal, the Peoples Republic of Canada which actually criticizes America and the Trump Administration and then states it will stop offering America delicious shale oil as well as take in Americans as refugees that are appropriately diverse ideologically and culturally.

What follows is a Cold War where Trump's Department of Homeland Security starts pushing migrants and unwanted Leftists into Canada, forcing Canada to build fences and walls (like only a bunch of Nazis would) along their border. Eventually tariffs are imposed as the Canadian economy starts to suffer more then the American economy. Also vile Leftists use Canada as a base for ideological terrorism in Democrat run blue cities, fomenting unrest in America. Canada also decides to engage in FOREIGN ELECTION INTERFERENCE which provokes fears that the Democratic Party will make a return to the halls of American Government and threaten America's precious and young One Party Democracy. Perhaps worst of all, Canada begins acquiring economic and diplomatic support from the European Union but the true breaking point is when CHI-NA offers Canada direct military aid in addition to sanction and tariff evading trade and economic opportunities.

Thus, the US Military begins to assemble on the Canadian border for multi month long "military exercises" when in 2022 the Freedom Convoy Protests prove to be the breaking point of idly standing by, watching the ongoing Tyranny of the Trudeau government. WITHOUT WARNING... Trump announces a Special Military Operation has begun to "DeMilitarize and DeNazify Canada of the Trudeau Dictatorship and to liberate Canada from its current corrupt Trudeau dictatorship as Trump goes on a three hour rant about the multiple corruption scandals that should've sunk Trudeau's fascist government multiple times along with many other topics, stating the Special Military Operation is to depose the current illegitimate government, not to acquire territory or other real estate, except for maybe a military base to springboard for an eventual liberation of Greenland.

Within hours, the Special Military Operation of Canada the world is thrown into diplomatic turmoil. The European Union sends a barrage of angry letters. Britain is shocked even more when Prince Harry and Princess Meghan decide to use their Royal "Authority" to operate as the Heads of State of Canada and aid them in their hour of need and for more Netflix deals. Meanwhile CHI-NA vows to provide military aid to the Canadian government who, thanks to the lead up, has been fully mobilized and prepared as best they could be, for the potential threat of aggression. India is all like 🤪. NATO tries to implement Article V but America cunningly vetoes it, stating the Special Military Operation of Canada is merely an "internal matter" and suggests NATO should invest in the 2% benchmark for defense spending so we can avoid this terrible situations in the future. :cool:

as we can see here more than 3/4ths of Canada's population lives real close to the border with the USA. as that contains their seats of government I think Trumps plan of a 3 hour long speech aired to the world while secret orders are passed to the military to just go ahead and ignore the greatest speech ever means that Trump could probably get Trudeau to surrender to him before he finishes that speech. glorious victory has been attained. I think we might have some rather cross canucks to deal with after that but if we promise statehood and that they aren't going to be controlled by Ontario and Quebec anymore they might just accept it.

Not in this timeline. One of Trump's casus belli is Canadians are harboring anti-America First Democratic Party political operatives whose only goal is to bring an end to Trump's glorious one party Republic with their evil Socialism.
 
Well, that part about Canada building walls to keep immigrants out is totally bogus, just look at how they mass imported the street shitters under Casto Jr.

Canadian armed forces are rolled over quickly and the key cities occupied. Now begins the difficult part, people don't like foreigners invading them, even if many people don't like Castro Jr. they like Yankees freedoming them even less, so insurgency starts. Fortunately for USA, the only land border Canada has is with USA while USN and CG can control the oceanic traffic to Canadian ports, making reusupply of freedom fighters terrorists very difficult.
Even worse problem than Canadians sniping Americans is administrating the freedomed territories as US attitude towards the experience of ruling over Iraq and Afghanistan can be summed up as

Best way for the USA to administer Canada would be to let them largely manage their own affairs, but with a stern "Don't make me come over there!" reminder.

Sort of like they are doing already.
 
The rest of the US invading North Minnesota (we're a real country! of course you are) is like a big brother, about to go off to college, pummeling their elementary school aged sibling for being an annoying little emo. The fact that we can, fails as a justification. Despite how miserable the inhabitants of North Minnesota seem to enjoy making themselves, they need to learn on their own to stop doing it. America's emo sibling is, as usual, acting out for attention. Pummeling them therefore, would be rewarding this self-destructive behavior and will only encourage more of it in the future.

I think the SpaceBattles discussion got most of the important points, specifically that;
  1. The Canadians can't win an outright fight against the Americans and it'd be suicide for them to try.
  2. Their best defense would be a Taiwanese-style one, where the defenders could be conquered but they produce something the attackers need so that doing so would be a net loss for the attackers. Specifically, the hydroelectric dams. Sabotage those as soon as American troops cross the border.
  3. However, while the threat of doing so might be a practical deterrence on a national scale, it'd be a bad idea on an individual level if the bluff was ever actually called, because it'd amount to destroying the whole Canadian economy and by causing skyrocketing energy prices in America, making us angry and our occupation much harsher. Any individual Canadian put in the position to do so would be better off complying with us invaders, especially if we set up rewards like "if you stopped the regime loyalists from deindustrializing your country, you get to be our new colonial puppet governor so long as you keep the electricity flowing south and the guerrilla attacks against us to a minimum."
  4. So the question is, how many loyalists does the Canadian regime actually have and how self-sacrificingly fanatical will they be?

THEY are afraid I'm a Russian PsyOp because my family hails from Siberia. My family had to work in the depths of the Russian winter, pulling sleds full of cargo because the country is so backwards, unpaid and exposed to the elements. My family never even wore a piece of clothing until we came to America. That's real poverty.

And yet here in the Land of the Free my voice is still being suppressed by those who want to bring those Russian "values" here. Enough to make you go rabid.

That sounds rough but back to the real matter at hand, I have given much thought to the erasure of that mistake to the north over the years. The best way to deal with the current population of Canada is a forced deportation and scattering across the US so their identity and culture is erased do not allow one Canadian family to live within so many miles of another and never more than a small amount. After that recolonize the land with true American patriots. Within a generation it will be greater Alaska and the very idea of that mistake known as Canada will be relegated to the history books!
