The Annals of Corporate Cringe and Woke Marketing

Ironic that Jim Crow-era white Southerners would believe the word of a black man over the word of a white Jew.
At the time Jews weren't considered white. Plus they had the added downside (for the racists of the day) of not even being Christian, unlike black Baptists.

As Tucker Carlson also pointed out, the ADL also loves to talk about the Great Replacement for Israel but not for the US:

Personally, I wouldn't mind it if Israel was flooded with hardworking Slavs, Thais, and Filipinos, though! ;)

The ADL went real quiet once he replied to them with their own words.

It is, in my opinion, the BEST defense. Just use the "Israel does it" line. They have some pretty good ideas and sentiments. It makes woke jews short circuit, the ADL powerless and causes the true 100% committed commies to shift into old habits and attack Apartheid Israel.

FWIW, Yeah, I myself am a critic of some of what Israel does. I do think that it could be more welcoming to non-Muslim and non-African non-Jewish immigrants, for instance. A non-Jewish uncle of mine had to marry a rather dull half-Jewish woman so that he could move to Israel from Russia over 20 years ago. They then proceeded to have a son together and divorced several years later.

They are considered White until some whites decide that they are not. Kind of like some do with Persians.

Or Arabs. Or Afghans.

Well to give you an idea what they thought about people who weren't White Anglo Saxon Protestants.

.

If you weren't a WASP you were just another N-Word to them.

You do realize that New Orleans was a corrupt shit hole even during the antibellum era and was basically known as america's sin city before Los Vegas was even a thing right? I mean don't be me wrong lynching happened a lot but we are talking about the shittiest part of the country during a point of time where the city was corrupt by New orleans standards.

I mean yea the south back then was horrible but New Orleans was next level of shitty even back then.

That's not the same as anti-miscegenation laws, though.

A lot of shady shit went down that has not made the official historical record in the Deep South back then. Trust me it is worst than you guys think. I have heard all the Old Stories from people who were alive back then.

I know that relatively few immigrants lived in the Southern US in 1900:

That said, though, I had always assumed that this was due to the greater economic opportunities in the Northern and Western US back then, no?

Interestingly in terms of race laws New Orleans didn’t really enforce them at all.... because it was too corrupt a city to do it. Also the city had its own racial views due to the creoles.

Mostly, also you needed to consider where immigrants could enter, if you came from europe you had to go to ellis island in New York, and if you were from Asia you had to go to angel island in California. If you weren’t processed there you were here illegally and ran the risk of being arrested, so most immigrants wound up staying there since they couldn’t afford to travel..
. the south had two entry points, 1 Texas which you see, since at the time travel to and from Mexico was easy, and Florida which you see reflected in the parts they covered like Tampa bay, which had a massive connection with Cuba.

I'm surprised that they couldn't build a processing center in, say, Virginia Beach, but then again, the demand for this probably wasn't high enough to justify such a move, so it all makes sense.

It isn’t couldn’t, it is a case of why? The demand for people was in the north east for the factories, which is why you see a massive chain of people to what we now call the rust belt, and California was the other major area with demand. Also the islands were used to check for disease in immigrants, so it makes sense to go with singular locations, makes it easiee to catch any potential pandemics..... like say one from China.

no we wern't and the souths Jewish community has been there since the colonial era, lets not invent new sins when this world has plenty of old ones.
Yep, in fact many Jewish communities actually were quite well off in the south, not suprising since those excluded from European gentry often tried to become it in the South.... some like Judah Benjamin even became cabinet members in the Confederacy. in fact the Jews even faced persecution from the Union after the civil war for their perceived support of the confederacy.

A lot of foreigners worked as Dock Workers and Ship Crews in Southern Ports. And they did get into very bad situations when they ran a foul of the locals in certain cities Cough "Charleston SC" Cough. So yeah it did happen a lot. It just didn't get National coverage that much.

I tried to think of a more cringe way to compose your Pride month message than this, and failed.

It's already deleted of course, but the Internet remembers. Granted, there's a small bit of justification in that Every Man Jack literally makes grooming products like shampoo and such but the word/flag choice is so hideous it's still distilled essence of cringe.
