They are gonna have all the Mandoverse shows spill into each other. Like Dinn showed up in BOBF. Bo and The Night Owls will more than Likely show up in Ahsoka seeking her help to save Dinn.Ok, having now seen it, I'm not 100% on this one. It's not too terrible, but.....
Ok, bringing back the Moff is not totally terrible, he's an Ok badguy. The Imperial Counsel was an interesting idea, but they should have been nastier to Gideon, he did lose, after all. A bit more pressure on him would be cool, make things a little more tense. The whole "We've been stealing Beskar, now we'll kill you all, it's the only thing you have that's worth anything" and the Imp Beskar mooks, that's also a cool scene.
Over all, not too bad, and a good enough lead up Ep to the final. And, yes, Pre went out like a badass. Note, he killed all the knock off Mando's, before getting geeked by the 3 elite henchmen. I'm not going to say it was needed for Pre to be rear guard, the Imps might have opened the door and shot the running mandos, but it was cool.
I think my biggest issue, comes back to the fact that they only have 8 eps per season. And, leadup to finale means there's only 6 eps to build a plot. It makes everything quite tight, often with no room for more than, perhaps one or two eps that are more or less self contained. At the same time, it's not like, say, Babylon 5, where things just.... fit. This doesn't feel like they really thought it through. And, because there really isn't much there, they have no time to really think about how to ajust to the needed changes.
I get the feeling that Exec meddling has screwed things up enough that they're just throwing stuff around. Grogu going off with the Jedi? Sure. He's just back, we'll put the reasons in an entirely different show! It's just....
If they wanted to bring back Grogu, that's fine. Skip a season, have him written in over time. Don't just throw random shit in, and hope it works!
They're doing ok, over all. but, it's not flowing as well as they should be.

That's what I was wondering since season 1. I was like "shietttttttttttttttt they're trying to clone either a supersoldier army or palpatine"Apparently Disney is trying to explain how Palpatine managed to clone himself because of the vicious mockery they received for that line: "Somehow Palpatine returned."

Bruh I just noticed @Sailor.X referred to Star Wars as 'the Mandoverse.'
I think I need to change the thread title.
It also is tied to Andor, as Mon Mothma showing up in the Ahsoka trailer proves.I usually call this subset of works "the Filoniverse" because it's a pretty distinct series of stories mostly overseen by one specific guy. (It's comprised of Tales of the Jedi, The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, Rebels, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and the upcoming Ahsoka & Filoni's cross-over film.)

Why do some Star Wars fans always want to character to be killed off. You know back in the day characters were allowed to go from a primary combat character to the wise old teacher. I see that in Ahsoka's future.I still think not killing Ahsoka off in Rebels was a huge mistake.
Clone Wars was what got me into SW in the first place, and Ahsoka was one of my favorite characters. But her continued survival is just too thorny to reconcile with everything else. The original trilogy is going through a soft decanonization at this point.
The thing is, how Palpatine could've survived isn't that much of a mystery. Its already been established that the Sith are masters of esoteric black science.
None of it however will ever make up for 'somehow Palpatine returned' or the fact that the writers outsourced foreshadowing this too Fortnite.

. . .They could've just sent her off to the Unknown Regions. The whole set-up is right there, what with Ezra disappearing. All you need to do is not have everybody stay through the OT period, but have Rebels entirely set pre-OT, and have (at the very least) Ezra and Ahsoka vanish from the known galaxy by the end of the series.
No, if you watch the end of the OG Malachor episode, you can see Ahsoka going into the stairwell at the same time Vader limps away.. . .
I mean, that's what they did?
The penultimate appearance of Ashoka in Rebels she was in the Force webway between worlds and exited it in the underground of Malachor, effectively cut of from the galaxy for who knows how long. Her final appearance was in the epilogue of Rebels set AFTER Return of the Jedi. It's pretty strongly implied in Rebels she was cut off from everyone for the entire period of the Original Trilogy.

Ezra removed Ahsoka from the timestream long enough to evade Vader's blow and the temple collapse, but she wasn't in limbo for the whole Original Trilogy.
We'll see what the show says she was doing during the Original Trilogy, but my bet is either she was stuck on Malachor without a ride off planet for a while, sort of like Maul was, or she was dedicated to trying to find Ezra the whole time and not in contact with Rebellion as a whole.
Yes, see, I said EXACTLY that, note the bolded text of my quote.. . .

The phrasing made it sound like you thought she was in limbo in the temple portal for the whole OT, not just stuck on Malachor, because you mention the last few episodes of Rebels, where as I said the OG episode.Yes, see, I said EXACTLY that, note the bolded text of my quote.
