I figured since late August and the NFL and CFB football seasons are about to start, that we need to have a thread to discuss all the comings and goings on the gridiron.
In the NFL, the New England Patriots look to continue their dynasty and defend their Super Bowl championship. However, they need to watch out for new threats in the AFC from KC, Indianapolis, and potentially a resurgent and young Cleveland Browns team.
In the NFC, the LA Rams look to build on a season that was while successful, came up just short of the championship. But Sean McVay and Jared Goff must watch out for the Seahawks in their own division as well as the Saints, Eagles, and Bears.
On the college side of things, we have two teams that appear separated from rest in Clemson and Alabama. Is the National Championship truly just a two team race or will some other team emerge?
What are you guys’ thoughts?
PS: Inb4 snarky European comment about soccer being the true football.
