What if the Soviet Union would have already fully constructed the Molotov Line by June 1941 and also aggressively manned it when Operation Barbarossa would have started? :

Just how much slower would the Axis advance in Operation Barbarossa have been in such a scenario? And how would Operation Barbarossa in general have looked like in this scenario?

With what resources? They didn't even expand the rail system in the newly annex regions yet in 1941 and were still building airbases close to the border. As it was Soviet efforts to digest the new territories were quite behind schedule.

With whatever resources that Alien Space Bats provide them? ;)

@sillygoose Here's another PoD for this: Have the French perform better in 1940 but not to the point of achieving a decisive breakthrough against the Germans. The Germans are subsequently able to finish off the French in 1941. How would Operation Barbarossa have subsequently unfolded in 1942?

@stevep @History Learner You guys can also answer this question of mine.

I suppose the best way to have that is the breakthrough on the Sedan is checked by French reserves, but they stupidly think the danger is checked and they can hold their extended lines in Belgium.

What happens next in such a scenario?
