No talking of peace talks, end games,.compromises or negotiations.

The fact that people refuse to debate this or talk about it reasonably is terrifying.

You can't point out that Ukraine is slowly getting everything it wants. Biden admin a few months ago, "we aren't sending tanks, that means WW3," Biden a few days ago, "we're sending tanks to Ukraine."

We weren't going to send patriot missiles. Now they're being sent.

We have sent over 100 billion dollars. Much of which has been used by their corrupt officials for lavish vacations.

We keep empowering them to keep escalating, and what we SHOULD be doing is encouraging peace talks and negotiations. But nope, we are gonna end up in WW3 and half these mouth breathing war mongers on this site are cheering it on.

You do not send over 100 billions - but mostly old stuff who would be scrapped anyway,and which was counted as if it was new.Probably ,in reality,some 20 bilions or less.
And,thanks to that somebody in USA certainly have more money.

This conflict could be over tomorrow, if Putin would admit defeat and withdraw Russian troops from Ukrainian soil.

No one else has the ability to end the conflict except Russia, because Russia is the one who began the whole thing. Defensive weaponry is not going to lead to WW3, despite how the Kremlin keep trying to pretend any aid to Ukraine is going to start WW3.

I mean, did you forget when Russia said Trump sending Javelin's to Ukraine was a 'dangerous escalation', years ago; and yet the nukes have not flown. Anything that gives Ukraine the ability to effectively defend itself and reclaim it's territory is 'escalatory' these days, and Ukraine is not obligated to give up it's territory/sovereignty to make this less stressful over here.

Also, that 100 billion being used on vacations is a rather debunked meme, and the corruption in Ukraine is being actively purged as part of the counter-intel operations against Russian assets in Ukraine. This is effectively the Ukrainian war of independence, and no matter how people in the US might feel, the war is not going to be a quick or tidy affair. This is is a conventional ground war, on flat, open step, in areas that turn to mud for a good chunk of the year.

Also, how is Russia not leaning on Iran and NK for supplies also 'escalating things'?

The US does not have the ability to end this war, only Russia does when they finally admit defeat and withdraw; all we can do is try to help Ukraine make that happen as fast as we can, and the dithering over weapons aid is costing lives. I have no problem with oversight to keep corruption from wasting our aid, but I am not for unicorn solutions and would prefer we helped 'escalate' faster than the Russians can adapt, so the Ukrainians can liberate their nation that much faster.

Call me a mouth breather for feeling this way if you want, but acting like this conflict is something the US people can say 'we are tired of, stop fighting' is rather naive, and no, this is unlikely to end in WW3.

Now the noises the CCP are making about Taiwan, that's where WW3 concerns are legit.
