'not as planned' was the last thought to run through the head of Mordred Black, son of Bellatrix Lestrange and Voldemort, as his body flew through the Veil of Death deep in the bowels of the Department of Mysteries.

It seemed that his father would have his vengeance, the last act of the most terrifying Dark Lord in recorded history being to summon his traitorous son with him. Even with mastery of the Elder Wand, Mordred was found wanting against the power of Voldemort's death curse.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, in a crumbling temple buried miles under a world its inhabitants called Coruscant, sat that same veil and from it emerged a wand of Elder, a cloak of shimmering silver, and a black stone emblazoned in silver with a circle bisected by a line inside a triangle.

Years, then decades and centuries would pass before anyone living would lay eyes on those three objects. Eventually though the wand would be found in a curio shop by a Jedi Padawan and its aura of death would see it locked deep in the vaults of the Jedi Temple; there to rest all but forgotten until a fallen Jedi by the name of Exar Kun would liberate it. The Death Stick would periodically emerge in the hands of one dark side force user or another over the next several thousand years before its "master" would inevitably die. The Sith Order would lock it away in their archives as a double edged sword, for while the innocuous bit of wood would boost its users force powers to legendary levels, it would also claim the souls of any who claimed to be its master and then died.

The Cloak would spend the millenia in the hands of thieves, assassins, and bounty hunters; becoming known in some very rarefied circles as a personal cloaking device virtually without compare.

The Stone though, it would pass through junk dealers, curio shops, and museum collections as it waited patiently for some force user to rotate it three times in their hand. It wasn't until thousands of years later, in the year 762 ARR as the calender of the day marked it, that the inevitability would occur.

A young man who had been passed over by the Jedi as too old to train would find himself as an intern in the Coruscant Museum of Pre-Space History, and one day while cataloging the collection his hands would idly play with the small round stone that had proven itself utterly immune to every attempt to alter it and that several Jedi had said was at least tens of millions of years old.

With the third rotation his soul was ripped from his body, consumed and replaced by that of Mordred Black. The intern, Quell Falconer, was no more.

'well it looks like it worked. I knew using the Elder Wand to turn the Resurrection Stone into my Horcrux was an inspired idea. This world I find myself in though...a polity of more than a million worlds, faster than light space travel, robots. I should probably figure out when I am, and were. hmm, no wand though. this is going to suck.'

So SI as the son of Voldemort and Bellatrix, thrown into the Star Wars galaxy with no resources. The SI does not have any knowledge of Star Wars (from either life). Magic wise, he has some wandless abilities but is going to be significantly restricted for a while.

Timeline wise this is somewhere around 200 years before Episode 1.

I'm very interested in this, and hopefully you'll post the next chapters soon.

Thank you. Keep up the good work.
