Unless Von Manstein has complete control over the Institute, his attempts at delivering a coup to remove the Nazi Leadership could be problematic. I'm assuming Institute assets would be integrated with the rest of the regime. It certainly seems like it would be since Scoobs keeps talking about all of the hare brained ideas Hitler could potentially be engaging in. The longer Von Manstein waits to execute a Coup on the Nazi Leadership, the more difficult it would become as the rest of the Nazis get more familiar with Institute technology and other shenanigans.

Of course,he would replace Hitler in 1939,wait for rearming,and start war about 1943 - taking entire Europe.

Anti-communism was a huge bonus, too.

So for the most part I see the top generals with Manstein at their head meeting forcibly the majority of the NSDAP and still going out to take back Prussia, kick France's ass and maybe royally fuck over the USSR.

The UK might not be scathed if it plays it's cards right.

And maybe with foreknowledge of the future and lots of advanced tech the Germans would be able to sway them in the direction of neutrality or an alliance.

I don't think they wanted to enslave you as much as rule over you, and in all fairness a lot of the post 1918 Polish territory held within it substantial German minorities and lands heavily connected to the German national identity.

And you had resources they wanted.

But their view towards Russia/the USSR/Ukraine and so on was not that different.
