Books Why the lack of Post-Apocalypse Light Novels?

By Post Apocalypse, I mean Fallout or Mad Max-esque

People bartering for goods, fighting mutants, raiders or crazy robots, scavenging for food and resources, buildings being somewhat renovated etc

Instead almost every time I look for Post-Apocalyptic LN

Simply put, society has been rebuilt too much

A rebuilt modern-esque or future-esque looking society is no longer Post Apocalypse to me

Isn’t Hokuto No Ken/Fist of The Northstar a classic? I’d think somebody writing LN would have an interest in that sort of stuff due to their love for edge
