For a time- yes,but they would lost it when french Republic take their country.
Fun thing is - local garrison could gave it to brotish,not spanish forces,so notching would change.

I could be wrong here - Dutch later allied with Spain against England before Napoleon,so they could gave it to Spain.
In that case,Gibraltar would remain spanish.

Yes, I guess they did. with Spain against England later, on just one occasion, during the American Revolutionary War.
