Yeah after seeing all of the five or so trailers Warner Brothers dropped three days ago or whatever, I can say that Wonder Woman 1984 is really the only movie I actually look forward to seeing to any degree and even then, it's not a big want of mine. I'm such a consumer I think I saw every Marvel film in theaters, but after being burned by a few DCEU films, it's hard to be excited for them. But the first Wonder Woman was a pretty decent film and I did love the different settings both with the Amazons and in the Great War time period.
The first trailer for WW84 was great and really evoked the 80's atmosphere they were going for and I really liked the presentation of Maxwell Lord. I'm not hugely familiar with the DC comics, especially Wonder Woman's rogues gallery and canon, so I don't know much about Maxwell Lord beyond the basics and what the trailer offered but I like what I see. The thinking, strategic villains are great and can add alot more to the stories quality when done well. Especially if they are out of the mainstream like Maxwell Lord is.
This trailer though, didn't really add much excitement for me. If anything, seeing Cheetah onscreen was kinda... meh? I dunno, as a general villain she doesn't really evoke much IMHO. But I've been wrong with the appearance of villains before and Kristen Wig is a good actress even if mostly in comedies and seems well cast. So I'm still interested, but the new trailer didn't really add anything more to my anticipation.
